Lieutenant Commander Dan Crenshaw (Retired) is the Representative for Texas’ 2nd
Congressional District. Dan’s life has been full of overcoming the odds. On his third
deployment as a U.S. Navy SEAL he was injured by an IED explosion, but still deployed
twice more before being medically retired. Seeking out a new mission, Dan earned his
Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.

In November 2018, Dan was elected to represent the people of Texas’s Second Congressio-
nal District. In Congress, he was appointed to the Homeland Security Committee and the
Budget Committee. Through his work on these committees, he is focused on border securi-
ty, disaster relief funding, port security, cutting frivolous spending and implementing
fiscally responsible policies.
Federal law requires political committees to report the name, address, occupation and name of employer of each contributor whose contributions exceed $200 in an election cycle. Individuals
may contribute a maximum of $5,600 – $2,800 for the primary election and $2,800 for the general election. Multi-candidate PACs may give a maximum of $10,000 – $5,000 for the primary
election and $5,000 for the general election. Contributions from corporations and foreign nationals are not permitted. Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
