Minutes
1-10  Students will be handed a laptop upon entry into the classroom along with
our instructions for the day’s activities.
 Teacher will direct student attention to our learning objectives for class
today.
10-45  Students will be asked to sign in to their computers and head to their
Nearpod accounts. An access code will be provided so each student may
access the class materials.
 Independently, students will work through the slideshow. There are
multiple engagement activities that require students to engage with the
slideshow but move at a pace that is appropriate for them. (*Note-there is
45-49
an option available to make this a live-lecture which would allow the
teacher to pace the students).
 At the close of the slideshow, students will be asked to logout and put
their computers away and tend to the exit slip. The exit slip will ask
49-60 students to reflect on their comprehension of our learning targets today
and gauge their level of understanding with an explanation.
 Teacher will collect exit slips upon dismissal.
