NARRATIVE REPORT No. 1

First day of our immersion our team is assigned here in Department of Health. I need to
be prepared on my 40 hour being a student trainee. I really like our supervisor and the staffs
because they are approachable and nice. Me and my teammates are divided in 4 respective areas,
auditing, budgeting, cashier and accounting. I am assigned in Auditing Area.
Our supervisor gave me a welcome task a voluminous workload and paper works. I
rechecked and compared all the financial statements and accounting records of the assigned
government agencies if it is correct, If they had a mistake i just need to put asterisk after i
evaluate and assess.
I am amazed on the place where i assigned because all they need to do is face the
computer but i think its difficult for them it is like chilling while torturing your eyes and mind.
That is what i do on my first day rechecking and confirming. I did not expect that im not shy in
approaching them.

NARRATIVE REPORT No. 2

My second day is just fine. Compared to the first day, my work is lessen today.
I can really witnessed here that thy have disciplined team members when it comes to work,
friendly environmental workplace. They have the capability to work as a indivudual or team
member and approachable people.

Today is a great day to start a task given by my supervisor but first they interviewed me
about my plan and how i see myself 10 years from now. After that i started to do my work. I
solved the total amount of their expenses of the year 2017 and 2018 and i identified if it is a loss
or gain.

Working at the area of Commission on Audit in DOH enabled me to employ my knowledge

and acquired learnings in school. I have been exposed to areas requiring strong analytical,
problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Everything went well during my stay. Its really more
fun here because we can enjoy while we learn.

NARRATIVE REPORT No. 3

My third day of work immersion is a little bit difficult. I need to check each item/product
from a certain company bought and i have to confirm it with their final files if its correct. I
need to check the quantity, price and item if it is right.

The hardest part of the job is when there's a lot of mistakes on the documents and i need to
reach out for my supervisor for that. The other staff told me that If you do not understand
something, it is always better to ask questions instead of spending double the amount of time
doing that work.

I review the signatures of the personnel of the company base on the main or original copy of the
documents. When it comes to the management it is very approachable, they treat as like their own
employees not just a student, so we really know how is the environment of a real workplace.

NARRATIVE REPORT No. 4

This is the day that we have to eat and energized ourselves because our work for today
going to be tough we need to lift and arrange files in order by their specific month, date and year.
Today is like an extra ordinary work day.

Me and ate Editha a college student who is currently working here in DOH as an OJT
Trainee helped me in fixing scattered books in order. For me it is really challenging because i am
not physically strong to lift thick books. We have to focus and compile their important
documents properly.

The company handle their trainee very well. The employees are very professional in their
work and also good in communicating with other people. Its a proud thing working with the
Commission with a good work environment and nice people ,. Although there are more
challenges to deal with, but its worth the learning and experiences.

Finally, its my last day here in DOH It is fun and memorable. I have learned a lot. The
knowledge, skills, expertise & skills are truly manifested. The experienced was over all great.
That's why im very thankful that i am assigned in auditing
During my training in the area of Commission on Audit in Department of Health, I learned the
process of how to audit. The task that was assigned to me is the rechecking of all the receipt from
different government unit. I check if the amount recorded is properly computed by recomputing
each receipt and I also audit the total amount. I realized that it is not easy to audit but if you love
what you do it will become easier. I am very comfortable while I am working there because the
employees are all very kind and they assist and guide me properly.

The hardest part of the job is when you are given a task without any understanding about it and
you have to convince yourself that you can do it alone. The most enjoyable part on the other hand
is when you're work contributed in bigger part of the organization and you felt that the people
around you were glad of your accomplishment.

I really have a great experience here the company handle their trainee very well. The employees
are very professional in their work and also good in communicating with other people i hope they
will continue to welcome future trainees that are willing to learn and work with them.
