Slimetube experiments determined minimum miscibility pres- ‘sure (MMP). Figure E-5 shows the results of the displacement of reconstituted reservoir fluid by pure CO, in a packed column at different pressures. Additional displacement tests were conduct ‘ed with five different CO,/hydrocarbon-gas mixtures. The MMP ranged from 1,010 to 1,350 psia vs. 987 psia for pure CO,- No significant changes in ultimate slimtube oil recovery were ob- served. These tests verified that published correlations adequate- ly estimate the MMP for NWE oil and impure CO,, CO, flooding of restored-state composite cores determined the mobilization and recovery of the waterflood residual oil satura-
