Pianist/Composer from Bangalore.

I began my musical journey at the age of 6 and have been intensely involved in the artform ever
since. I studied western classical piano for over 8 years under Ruth Chandy and completed The Royal
School of Music grades up to grade 7. My deep interest in other more contemporary genres like
rock, blues and RnB drew me towards more free and improvisational styles such as jazz and blues.

In order to increment my newly found passion, I went on to study under Bangalore based musicians
such Aman Mahajan, Nadisha Sagar to name a few. At the same time, I developed an interest in
music production and collaboration. I then moved on to New Delhi to further his studies at Global
Music Institute under Alex Correa and Katerina L’dokova.

Being ever interested in breaking the boundaries between genres has helped me develop a unique
touch on my instrument and has given me the ability to better express my musical ideas.

Over my many years of musical exploration I have developed a unique touch on my instrument as
well an engaging and supportive attitude to listening and interacting with other musicians. I draw my
influences from a range of musical genres including Jazz, Rock, Rnb, Western classical, Folk and
Indian Classical to name a few. Some of my other interests include Filmmaking, Carpentry, Design as
well as Computer Programming.
