AMCAT SEVEN STROKE FEEDBACK REPORT

Dear Varun Arora, AMCAT ID:10013010249589

Thanks for appearing for AMCAT on 13 February 2012. AMCAT is India's largest employability test. AMCAT
seven stroke feedback report shall help you understand your employability and identify your strengths and
weaknesses in different modules. At the same time, we shall highlight your strengths to various companies
on our panel. Companies in various sectors recruit for multiple positions using AMCAT.

AMCAT is India's only adaptive test. It automatically becomes easy or tough according to your
performance in questions. Your AMCAT score is not equal to the number of questions answered correctly as
is the case in any other test. The score is calculated by an advanced statistical engine, which takes into
consideration questions difficulty, discrimination, guess probability, time to attempt a question and several
other factors.

PERFORMANCE CHAKRA

Our Performance Chakra provides you with a bird's-eye view of your performance in different sections of
modules you have attempted. The three levels indicate your performance as poor, average or good.

Note: If a module is not colored, it means that either you have not attempted sufficient number of questions
in that module or you have not taken or attempted that module.

DIAGNOSTICS AND GUIDANCE

In this section we analyze your performance in each module you have taken and guide you on how to
improve your performance in it.

English

Your performance in English is amongst the top. Be sure to maintain this level of excellence throughout
by regular practice. Try to exceed yourself by expanding your lexicon and learning about subtleties of
this wonderful language. All the best!

Computer Fundamentals

Your performance in Computer Fundamentals is amongst the top. According to our analysis, you have
good understanding of computer basics. Make sure you keep yourself abreast to the changes happing
in the fast moving world of computers.
Computer Programming

Your performance in Computer Programming is amongst the top. You can further sharpen your skills by
designing programs for complex problems. Try rewriting existing programs in multiple ways. Also
concentrate on theoretical concepts in computer science. With practice, we are sure you will achieve
mastery in this section. Good luck!

Tips / Suggestions for You

For studying data structures, we suggest that you refer to the book, "An Introduction to
Algorithms" by Cormen, et.al. Remember, only reading the book will not help, you will learn only
by implementing various algorithms, examples and problems (from the book) in a programming
language of your choice.

Logical Ability

Your performance in Logical Ability is amongst the top. You are an expert in drawing inferences,
spotting patterns and solving puzzles. We are sure you know that the only way to sustain and improve
this ability is to regularly practice harder and harder questions. Make sure you are in constant touch
with the subject.

Quantitative Ability

Your performance in Quantitative Ability is not upto the mark. According to our analysis, you are
capable of solving problems in advanced areas such as permutation-combination and probability. But
you lack the capability of solving basic mathematics problems (in areas of HCF, LCM, divisibility) and
algebra. You also cannot apply these concepts to word problems in order to get a solution. Start from
the basics and move on to solve complex problems. In word problems, you are given a real world
situation, you need to form equations to represent the situation and solve them to get the answer. Go
through solved examples of word problems, understand them and practice them. Then, solve multiple
choice questions under time constraint. Make it a habit to solve at least five questions daily. You can do
it! Work hard!

Tips / Suggestions for You

You should practice quantitative ability questions under time constraint. This will also increase
your speed.
For word problems, try to jot down what are the given parameters and what is to be found. Then
try to relate the two.
Always first try to solve the problem yourself. Do not look into the solution directly.

TIME ANALYSIS

This section tells you about how you have spent the allotted time in taking AMCAT. The graph below gives
you an idea about your speed in attempting the questions in different modules. We compare your speed
with general population and tell you whether you were faster (upward facing bar) or slower (downward
facing bar) or normal (no bar) at attempting questions.

As compared to general population, you were quite fast in attempting questions in English and Computer
Programming. You attempted questions very slowly in Computer Fundamentals, Logical Ability and
Quantitative Ability when compared to general population.

SUGGESTED TIME SCHEDULE

Based on your performance, we suggest how much time approximately you need to spend on studying a
particular section of a module in a week. The bar graph shows the time you need to devote to each topic in
a section, while the pie chart suggests how you should divide your time across different sections.

Note: Modules without subdivision shall not be included in the bar graph. We cannot comment for modules
with scores 0, -1 or -2.
