LAKEWOOD, NJ – The Annual Golden Egg Tournament was held at Ocean
Lanes on April 14, 2019 - consists of three divisions in one tournament. The
scratch divisions were for bowlers who averaged over 175 and a division for
those averaging under 175 plus a handicap division for bowlers under 135.
The format in the handicap division, which only allowed bowlers with
averages under 135, was three games, straight up, plus your handicap to
determine the winner.
Justin Auerbach had a 583 scratch series and with his handicap was an easy
winner at 637. He was followed by Steven Paz with a Scratch series of 469
and a 547 overall. Third place was taken by Andrew Caruso who bowled a
494 series and with the handicap his score came to 547.
Since there were separate awards for the girls the high handicap series
came from Eleana Auerbach at 511 including her 120 pin handicap. Second
girl was Bryonna Camp with a 375 scratch and a 481 overall series and third
was Megan Keenan with a 375 scratch and a 480 overall.
