Rehearsal Plan (1-everything you plan to accomplish with each selection/section. 2-HOW you

plant to engage them in the process of listening and learning)

Section 1: Mvt 1 Measures: all Minutes: 4

- This one went pretty well before so a run through should probably be enough

- Focus on dynamic contrast

- My goal is to avoid being distracting to the musicians by over-showing

Section 2: Mvt 2 Measures: begin-B Minutes: 3

- Know the tempo before beginning & commit to it once begun

- Correctly conduct all the meter changes *pulse

- Cue the pizz. & fermata, begin in B but then stop

Section 3: Mvt 2 Measures: C-end Minutes: 3

- Prepare the change from 4/4 to 6/8 and back

- Strive for a lot of dynamic and articulative contrast

- End strong, even if something goes wrong *take one transition at a time
