STRUCTURAL STABILITY CERTIFICATE

This is to certify that the newly constructed PUF sandwiched metal sheet roofed
Equipment Maintenance Shed provided inside the factory premises of Hyundai Motors India Limited
Factory, Irungatukottai was inspected by me on 30.01.2019, for the purpose of checking the structural
stability of the newly constructed Equipment Maintenance Shed in the Presence of Mr.Palaniraj from
Kotec Automotive Services India Private Limited.

Description of the new Equipment Maintenance Shed

The newly constructed PUF sandwiched metal sheet roofed Equipment Maintenance Shed inside the
factory premises of Hyundai Motors India Limited Factory, Irungatukottai has been provided with
MS Columns are supported by RCC Isolated footings. MS columns have been connected to the RCC
Pedestals with MS base plates and 20 mm dia. Anchor bolts of 750 mm long. These MS columns are
supporting the MS Trusses spaced at 5000 mm, Purlins and Roofing sheets. All sides have been
covered with Metal sheet cladding with Polycarbonate sheet for lighting over the Hollow block wall
provided for a height of 1200 mm. All the main columns supporting the “A” trusses are in ISMB400
except four corner columns which are in ISMB300. All Trusses have been fabricated with bottom and
Top chord members with ISA double angle boxes and the bracing using SHS 60 x 60 x 4. MS “”200Zs”
Purlins are supporting the PUF sandwiched 50 mm thick sheets and Turbo Ventilators. Bracings has
been done in two bays using MS rods and Plates to provide lateral stability to the Truss and Roof in
addition to the bracing of two adjacent columns in two bays.

6. Spacing of Columns : 5.00 Mts
7. Purlins : “Z” Purlins
8. Roofing Sheets : 50 mm Thick PUF sandwiched Metal Sheets

I also went through the set of As built drawings of the newly constructed PUF sandwiched
metal sheet roofed Equipment Maintenance Shed with twelve drawing mentioned in the table below
prepared by M/s. Marvel Structural Consultants having their office at F2, Rohini, 18, Shanthi street,
Dr.Seethapathy Nagar, Velachery, Chennai 600 042.

Based on the above drawings and information provided to me and personal observations made at
the site by me during my inspection, I certify that the above discussed newly constructed PUF
sandwiched metal sheet roofed Equipment Maintenance Shed with MS Trusses and Purlins,
supporting MS columns is satisfying the Latest Indian standards and further certified that the
subject shed is structurally sound and safe for the period of Three years from the date of issuance
of this certificate.

Note:
1. After Three years, this certificate shall be extended for a further period of three years after re-
inspection by the structural engineer issuing this certificate.
2. The newly constructed Equipment Maintenance Shed should be periodically maintained
3. No structural modification shall be carried out in the building being certified.
4. The structure or its structural members should not be loaded with additional loads.
5. Twelve drawings prepared by M/s. Marvel Structural Consultants are signed by me and
attached to this certificate.
