Designed to appeal to all senses, our opulent zones are named after the Gods of Ancient
Greece, seated in their lofty position in the heavens.

Apollo 23, God of Music, Light & the Sun. Zeus 23, King of the Gods, God of Sky & symbolised
by the thunderbolt. Iris 23, Greek Goddess of the rainbow & messenger to the Gods. Eros 23,
God of Love & one of the fundamental causes in the formation of the world.

Cloud 23’s cocktail evolution is inspired by Manchester’s heritage & the city’s proud tradition as a cradle
of invention.

STRATOSPHERIC 23
A drink that is as iconic as our wonderful abode – The Beetham Tower! The tallest cocktail in
Britain? Perhaps, but it will certainly turn heads!

QUEENS PARK SWIZZLE 10


Another drink named after a famous hotel – the grand Queens Park Hotel. Sadly it no longer
takes its iconic place in Port of Spain’s skyline, but we still highly recommend this classic
from Trinidad & Tobago – the Mojito’s cousin.

GEORGIA MINT JULEP 10


This Peach & Apple twist is a long overdue nod (well, at least on our menu) to the professor
of bartending himself, My Jerry Thomas. Short & refreshing but a real stiff drink!

Somerset Cider Brandy, Peach Liqueur, Sugar Lemon, Mint

EL DIABLO 10
This devilish drink originating in 1940’s California is a must for any Moscow Mule lover.
A classic combo of Don Julio Tequila, Lime & Blackcurrant liqueur we’ve given this beverage
a real kick by making our own ginger beer.

MISSION TO MANCHESTER 11
(ミッションは、マンチェスタ)
Albert square was the scene of much ado & fanfare in August 1872, as the Lord
Mayor welcomed the Iwakura Mission from Japan. Travelling around the world for ideas
& inspiration, Manchester was a particular highlight due to the city’s wealth of industrial
heritage. Before taking a walk over to see the commemorative bright red plaque adorning
the walls of the town hall, enjoy our (liquid) tribute. Kanpai!

The no.7 has always been the centre of attention for certain football teams.
Now our own no.7 will take the show & live up to the great names that have taken
the shirt over the years in this famous footballing city.

THE LAST STRAW (HAT) 12


Built in 1828 by leading industrialist Thomas Marsland, Stockport’s “Hat Works” was
Europe’s largest hat producer & a pioneer in the art of textile design & haute couture.
Hats off to this drink!

Pomegranate & Rose are swizzled with Lemon, Creole & Vermouth with a kick of Irish Whiskey
Disclaimer: you must wear the hat whilst drinking the drink.

GRAPE & COMPASS 12


A pretty penny was certainly made out of the pleasure gardens by the Tinker himself.
However, his first business venture – a coffee shop by the name of ‘The Grape & Compass’
is our inspiration for this drink. Garden herbs are combined with ingredients from different
points of the compass!

Ketel One Vodka, Banana Liqueur, Kamm & Sons, Parsley & Dill Syrup & lemon juice are shaken,
then topped with a Pinot Grigio, Apple & Elderflower foam.

CLOUD SPRING PUNCH 12


A nod to a legend of the bar world for this drink. Based on a Russian spring punch this is
a Cloud twist on a modern classic. Yum!

Accentuate the positive! Rose tinted Gin muddled with Cucumber and Watermelon, giggled with
Champagne.
Strictly, Pinkly delightful.

OLD THOM HENRY’S CHERRY EFFERVESCENT 13


In 1776, visionary local apothecary Thomas Henry - a pioneer of carbonated waters - speculated
that bottled ‘dephlogisticated air’ - aka oxygen - would one day be ‘as fashionable as French
wine at fashionable taverns;’ not quite as fashionable as our delicately aerated bottled punch, however.

Cherry Punch made with Goslings over-proof dark Rum and Amaretto, carbonated and served over our
house-made Lemon & Mint Sorbet.

HERE’S TO BABY 13
Our champagne toast to ‘Baby’ – aka, the world’s first working computer. Unveiled in June
1948, the brainchild of Manchester University professors: Williams & Kilburn. Along with DNA & genetic
fingerprinting, ‘Baby’ was recently voted one of the three greatest scientific discoveries of all time.

CORNETTO DI CLOUD 9.99


Nothing is more delightful than a cold ice-cream on a warm sunny day. Unfortunately,
this is Manchester & those days are few & far between! Our answer - have our little tribute
to Antonio Valvona, the man who created the ice-cream cone. Oh & did we mention he
created it just over the road in Ancoats; our own take on an ice cream cocktail.

Belvedere Vodka, Cassis, Raspberry and Vanilla Cream finished with 100’s & 1000’s.

1930’s COSMOPOLITAN 12
Long before Carrie Bradshaw & the girls sipped on cosmos in that popular 90’s show, there
existed a suspiciously similar concoction in the 1930’s. This sophisticated & classy version is Tanqueray
Gin based with Raspberry, as opposed to Cranberry, providing an attractive pink blush.

KNICKERBOCKER SPECIAL 12
Mid 19th century New York’s Knickerbocker Hotel produced a variety of specialities
including desserts. And, this is one of our absolute favourites. A fruity number we like
to drink frappe, this could be a contender for the Mai Tai throne

THE INDUSTRIALIST 12
Instrumental in Manchester’s 18th century prosperity, Sir Richard Arkwright’s vision
turned artisanal watermills into mighty, power-driven factories where materials were
mass-produced using machinery & semi-skilled labour. A self-made man, we fancy
he’d admire this potent, spun cotton-topped old-fashioned’s mix of Bourbon, Vermouth,
& our ‘industrialist’ mix, prepared with a secret recipe

A frozen mix of: Bulleit Bourbon, Vermouth, Mezcal, Bitters & Maple Syrup,
served over Candy Floss.

AIRMAIL 13
As to the precise origins of this potent little blend – a cross between the French 75 & the
Daiquiri – we cannot say. It simply turns up. The name, at least, isn’t much of a riddle,
way back when, airmail was the last word in getting something from point A to point B.
This will certainly make you feel like you’ve taken the plane too high!

We’ve given Corrie goddess Ena some extra sparkle this year as a reward for this multiple
award winning champagne cocktail.

MR MERCER’S COTTON PECULIAR 13


Invented by Lancashire based chemist, John Mercer (1791-1866), mercerisation - treating
cotton with caustic soda to give it a smooth silken sheen – is a process still used today.
We trust you’ll find our cotton candy topped ice-cream smoothie equally groundbreaking.

Light Havana Club Rum blended with our spiced Syrup, Passion Fruit & Ice-Cream,
then fluffed up with Ginger Beer.

A well structured, straw gold example of this popular variety. It has quite

Small batches of juice were fermented separately from premium parcels
of Marlborough fruit, selected for their intensity, structure & balance.
Aged on its Lee’s for several weeks, resulting in ripe, rich herbal & tropical
fruit flavours bursting onto the palate.

GAVI DE GAVI 50
La Toledana / Piemonte, Italy
The history of the mansion Toledane Gavi goes back to the 16 th century.
For over 150 years the Cortese Grapes are planed on the estate. The bouquet of
Toledana Gavi is lush & elegantly promising. The distinctive taste is a mix of
Floral scents, Gooseberry & citrus fruit with a little Almond aftertaste.

PINOT BLANC 52
Chapel Down / England
This Pinot Blanc is made from Grapes grown in Hampshire & Kent. This is an expressive,
aromatic Pinot Blanc showing Apricot, white Peach, Grapefruit, Orange blossom,
Jasmine & brioche aromas. A ripe, rich & dry palate with subtle layers of flavour.
It is nicely balanced with complexity & good length.

The Pinot Noir Grapes come from vineyards located in the south-west of
Languedoc Roussillon, close to the Pyrenees Mountains, about 30% of the

Ebeia de Bodegas Portia / Ribera del Duero / Spain
Ebeia is 100 % Tinta Fina del Paris & stays at least 4 months in American oak barrels.
Cherry red colour with purple rims, clean & bright. Fresh & tasty, with pleasant
tannins & nice acidity. Fruity reminiscence & long aftertaste.
