MUSIC MINISTRY VISION-MISSION

STATEMENT
VISION:
The St. Rita College Manila Music Ministry envision
Authentic Christian Harmony, Friendship
Love of Spiritual Beauty
in making and producing music which is pleasing to the Lord.
MISSION:
We commit ourselves to bring harmony and to radiate
God’s love through life witnessing by proclaiming the Good News
and serving the Lord
with one mind, one heart, one vision,
one mission intent upon God, through singing.
Inspired by the ideals of
St. Augustine, of Mother Dionisia and
Mother Cecilia Rosa Talangpaz, we live and do our
Christian duties as we sing as children of the
Holy Mother Church.

OBJECTIVES:
 To promote community discipleship for Christ, in
Christ, with Christ in the school to every member
of the St. Rita College Manila Institution and
develop every Christian to help each other grow in
holiness.
 To commit ourselves to all the duties and

responsibilities and do everything in holiness as to
live a life of moral values and responsibilities.
 To be inspired and to inspire people about the

Sacred Scriptures through the sound of music.
 To maintain and to enhance our talents and skills

in singing.
 To help people realize their talent in singing.
 To develop our voices and to learn how to play

Planning of the things to do for the whole year
Meeting Proper:
The first meeting of the Music Ministry club begins with a prayer that
was led by Sr. Marisa Bernasor A.R Music Ministry club moderator. After the
prayer, Sr. Marisa Bernasor A.R introduced her self and her newly assistant
moderator Mr.Junnel Tayoto to the club. After introducing Sr. Maris have an
opening message to the new set of member of the club. The moderators
instructed us to focus and internalize for us to do a proper posture for
todays Vocalization. After the Vocalization, club moderators decided to
divide the members by 4 to think of the activities that we want to do in the
whole school year. The meeting ended at exactly 10:30 a.m with a closing
prayer that was led by Ms. Angelica Anto.

Meeting Proper:
The meeting started with a prayer led by Lhorraine Monterey of

Grade 5. Today’s club meeting focused on the action plan for the whole
year’s activity. The members were divided into four groups to make their
action plan for the group for the whole year. They were asked to make their
outline on the yellow paper. And on the last minute we ended the meeting
with a simple prayer.

Meeting Proper:
The club day meeting started with a prayer led by Cyril

Mohammed of Grade six St. Joseph. After the prayer we started the
presentation of the Action Plan whole plan with a power point presentation
prepared and finalized by Mr. Junnel T. Tayoto. After some suggestions and
clarifications, Sr. Maris scheduled the choir practice for mass services. We
ended the meeting with a prayer.

Rehearsal for Christmas Concert
Meeting Proper:
The meeting started with a prayer led by Samantha Nicole

Ongtangco of Grade 6 St. Joseph. Before we proceed with the rehearsal we
made some vocalization to prepare the members to sing. After that Sr. Maris
played the instrumentals for the singers who will sing for the concert. Other
member were memorizing their part for the concert. We ended the meeting
with a prayer.

Meeting Proper:
The club day meeting started with a prayer. Sr. Maris brought her
keyboard for the lesson. Today’s meeting focused in voice lesson. The
member were taught about the parts of the mouth that work together when
an individual is singing. Also, everyone is taught individually of the proper
breathing when you sing. After that, Sr. Maris played the keyboard for the
vocalization. At the end of the meeting we say a little pray.

Meeting Proper:
The club day meeting started with a prayer led by Lhorraine

Monterey of Grade five. After that, we proceed to vocalization and Sr. Maris
taught them about breathing technique. After some preceding, Sr. Maris
acknowledge the club officers, the graduating members of the club and
gave them some word of encouragement and gratitude for their service
render to the school for years.

Financial Report
The St. Rita College Manila Music Ministry is blessed
that we are not required to pay any contribution in any

activities in the school within the club membership. This

School Year, the biggest activity of this club is the
Christmas Concert which is provided by the parents of the
participants.
We cannot present a Financial Accounting since we did
not collect any financial or fund raising for the club.
RECOMMENDATION
As we end this school year 2017-2018, we

therefore recommend that every officer must have
a regular meeting to know if there are some

improvements. This is not only for developing our

talent in music but also for developing our
relationship with others and of course for
developing each growth and spiritual.
Though there were lots of responsibility that we
had aside of being an officer, we must have an
initiative to extend our hands to do our part as an
officer.
EVALUATION
This School Year, we, the Music Ministry Officers did
not have any exclusive meeting.
The Club members were be able to cooperate and
participate in all activities of the school, but the only

difficulty challenges is the irregularity of the members to

have their regular practice. Furthermore within the club
each member developed their talents and confidence in
both performing and rendering service to the Lord.
