have places available, they use this criteria to decide who to offer places to.

admission criteria. In the same way our institutes will have some rules regulation
for admission only serious students will get admission.According to estimate

sources.

who would. In addition, we will also offer special discount to good students
who have good marks and also those students who are from poor families.

7
Marketing Planes:
Marketing Strategy
Advertisement is very important and valuable part of any business so we are
not going to take it lightly. There are different ways to advertise like Google
adds,YouTube, website,Also, we will advertise our business by putting our insti-
tute logo on different copies, books, pencils and we will freely distribute among
students to advertise. Our corporate goal is to grow institute of career devel-
opment and technology to become one of the best online and offline institute
brands in the Pakistan which is why we have mapped out strategy that will help
us take advantage of the available market and grow to become best.
institute of career development and technical training is set to make use of the
following marketing and sales strategies to attract students.
1)Place adverts on both print (newspapers and magazines) and electronic media
platforms.
2)Leverage on the internet and social media platforms like; Instagram, Face-
book, twitter, YouTube, Google + to promote our services.
3)Install our Bill Boards on strategic locations all around Pakistan.
4)Engage in road show from time to time in targeted neighborhoods.

8
5)Distribute our fliers and handbills in target areas.
6)Contact corporate organizations by calling them up and informing them of
institute of career development and technical training.
7)Ensure that all our staff members wear our branded shirts and all our vehicles
are well branded with our institute logo.
8)Attend relevant international and local expos, seminars, and business fairs.
9)Create different packages for different category of students in order to work
with their budgets and still deliver excellent services’
10)Leverage on the internet to promote our business.
11)Encourage word of mouth marketing from loyal and satisfied students.

Start-up Cost:
They are the sole financial of the business which is why they decided to restrict
the sourcing of the start–up capital for the business to just two major sources.
1)Generate part of the start–up capital from personal savings and sale of his
stocks.
2)Generate part of the start–up capital from friends and other extended family
members.
Headlong we are the only side to support our institute and only source for fund-
ing.and for this we require a another source to invest in it.Our funded revenue
is 1 million. So we require a investor to support our business. The investor that
will support our business will get half of the profit.

9
Challenges and Risks:
A first challenge is to raise the status of students as a career choice, to attract
more people to join institute .we are going to take much more risks to explore
our market another risk is the market risk because we don’t know that when
and how our institute will go down or go up.

Our Business Structure:

Institute of career development and technical training is an offline and online
institute intends to start small in one city of Pakistan, but hope to grow big in
order to compete favorably with leading institutes in the markets of city.We are
aware of the importance of building a solid business structure that can support
the picture of the kind of world class business we want to own. This is why we
are committed to only hire the best hands within our area of operations.

10
Design and Development plan:
First and foremost, build something that we’re passionate about. Interest is the
best way to keep our self motivated,so ask yourself what do we care about or
what do you like to do. Think about what our institute should be able to do
and list them out. If we end up listing a bunch of things, take a better look and
ask yourself if this institute really needs. for example,Facebook login to work?
Does it REALLY need to upload data to some cloud to work?
It’s great to have a dream project with awesome spescifications, but right now
the point is not building something that’s complete with a lot of cool features.
Keep in mind that no institute is ever complete and everything starts out sim-
ple.Don’t ever try building an all-in-one institute. Don’t go there.I’ve seen it
happen even in a professional environment, and the result is a lot of pain and
little progress.

Designing the Database:

Its about online services. After we planned out every possible scenario, take a
look at it to determine what sort of data you would need to keep. For example,
if your online services requires users to create an account, you’d need to keep
track of things such as the user-name, user ID, the user’s email, the password,
whether user’s email is confirmed, when the account was created as well as every
time the user has logged into your online services.

Making the App for online services:

We should focus on making the app function by function. Thus, if we’re not done
with one task such as a commenting system, don’t suddenly start to build a user
profile view. In other words, if we’re building a form, for example, you should
work on both the front and back-end code until the function is complete. All in
all, to keep track of our progress, we can write down a to-do list of functions
and use it as a checklist.

Risk of getting denied:

One of the most important realizations that businesses must come to accept
about native mobile apps: we’re playing in someone else’s sandbox.we must
play by their rules or run the risk of getting your application denied.

Projected Development Cost:

This financial report tracks money that flows in and out of our business over a
given period of time (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.) The first part of our
cash-flow statement details funds coming in and going out of our institute. The
second part shows the resulting changes in our cash position. Both parts must
match in order to reconcile the net effect of the inflow and outflow of money

11
with the difference in cash holdings over the reported period.By looking at the
numbers, we can easily see that most scenarios are cash draining activities. The
two only exceptions are the medium and best case scenarios in the subscription
model. The projected cost is about 500000 to 1000000.

Proprietary issues:
Before starting the development of a institute. We have hundreds of questions.
And we bet that most of them are connected with the business idea of our
institute and a software development process. we are so excited about the fact,
that our institute will be soon developed, that we totally forget about legal
issues, that need to be considered.

Copyright:
It protects online services’s source code, artwork, design, text. The online ser-
vices will automatically gets copyright protection once the work is done. In
addition ,we can file a copyright application to the US/EU/GB Copyright Of-
fice in order to establish a public record.

Patent:
It is used to protect specific institute and online services mechanism or service
that is new or not obvious. It must be acknowledged that patenting is rare prac-
tice among app developers.Applying for a patent is a long and involved process.
It helps enormously to know the steps of the patent application process. These
five steps will help you plan out the patent process as we seek to protect your
invention.
1)Understand Invention
The first step in how to get a patent is to understand your invention. What
aspect (or aspects) of the invention makes it new and useful? Suppose we made
a custom pair of shears that are useful for cutting thin strips of fabric. The
scissors have a custom designed handle with different shaped finger loops and
an additional set of pivots that allow the cutter to feel the slightest resistance
when cutting through very thin fabric.
Once we identify the aspects that make our invention new and useful then we
need to consider the scope. Are there other ways to make our invention? For
example, could we use springs instead of pivots? Could we change the shape of
the finger loops or the materials they are made out of? Find all the possible
ways to make our invention work, even if they’re not as good as the preferred
way we make our invention.
2)Research Invention:
A patent requires absolute novelty. Part of the rationale of giving inventors
exclusive rights to their inventions is to encourage the inventor to teach the
public how to make the invention work. If a reasonably skilled person could
make the invention work from information already available to the public, then

12
what benefit is there to giving the inventor exclusive rights.
we have to search to find any relevant publication, presentation, sales brochure,
patent application or issued patent that overlaps with our invention or some
components of your invention. For example, we may find a technical white pa-
per that discusses precision robotic manufacturing. we notice that the robotic
arms have the same kind of pivots as our super sensitive scissors. The reference
is considered prior art, even if it is in a different field.
3)Choose the Type of Protection: Back to the pair of scissors that you
made. Let’s say you really like them, but they leave a lot to be desired. The
pivots are too loose and you want to spend more time tinkering to get the ten-
sion just right. You also want to try out some new materials for the finger loops.
If you want to get a patent on file but leave some room to tinker, you may want
to file a provisional patent application.
A provisional application serves as proof that you are the inventor as of the
date you file the patent. You can then take a year to file the actual patent
application (what most people call a patent is actually called a utility patent).
In that year, you can experiment and perfect the prototype that you built. You
cannot, however, add anything new. If your new prototype includes super sen-
sitive pressure sensors that you did not include in the provisional application
then you will need to file a new patent application to get the benefit of the new
sensors.

When considering what patent protection is available to you, do not rule

anything out. For example, you may shape the finger loops on your scissors
because they have a real functional improvement in improving sensitivity to
resistance. They may also produce a very distinctive appearance. You could
file a design patent application for the distinct appearance of the finger loops in
addition to or in place of a utility patent application. Generally, a design patent
protects the way an article looks, while a utility patent protects the way an ar-
ticle is used and works. Overlapping patent protection is incredibly important
and makes your intellectual property that much more valuable.
4)Wait for a Formal Response: Do not expect to hear back from the patent
office for a long time, usually a year or longer. When you do hear back, the
examiner may argue that your invention is not novel in light of the prior art,
that your invention is not the kind of thing that you can get a patent for, or that
you have failed to fully explain how the invention works. If this does happen,
you might want to seek professional advice to help craft your response.

10 Operational Plan:
Simply, our operations plan is a manual for operating your organization – de-
signed to ensure that we accomplish our goals. It’s a key piece of the puzzle
for any goal-oriented team. So what steps can we take to develop a strong
operations plan? Ultimately, an operation plan is a tool for carrying out our

13
strategic plan. It’s important, then, to make sure that we have a strong strategic
plan already in place, and that everyone involved in our efforts understands
it.Without this guidance, writing an operations plan will be like trying to plan a
vacation without knowing where we’re going. If we can’t identify how an element
of your operations plan helps you achieve a specific strategic objective, then it
shouldn’t’t be part of your plan.
In order to avoid writing a tangled tome of a plan, focus on the goals that truly
matter. Before we even set down to create your operations plan, break our strate-
gic plan down into one-year objectives. Then determine the key initiatives that
will help we achieve those goals. They might be:
1)New organizational structures
2)More employee time spent on professional development

Managing Team and Company Structure:

Our Team:
Institute will ensure that we will hire people who are qualified, hardworking,
creative, student metric and are ready to work to help us build a prosperous
business that will benefit all the stake holders (the owners, workforce, and cus-
tomers). As a matter of fact, profit-sharing arrangement will be made available
to all our senior management staff and it will be based on their performance
for a period of five years or more as agreed by the board of trustees of the
institute. In view of the above, we have decided to hire qualified and competent
persons to run our company.

Qualities of Team:
They should communicate well with each other:
They communicate openly with each other, sharing their thoughts, opinions
and ideas with members of their team; as well as taking into consideration what
others have to say. Communication is essential for keeping track of progress and
working together efficiently on tasks. Poor communication can lead to crossed
wires, that can mean work is left incomplete/incorrect or conflicts can arise.

Everyone contributes their fair share:

Each member of the team contributes their fair share of the workload and fully
understand what their responsibilities are and where they fit in with the running
of the business. They feel a sense of belonging to the team, are committed to
their work and really care about the success of the company.

14
Team members are diverse:
Everyone is unique and will be able to offer their own experiences and knowledge
that others may not possess.Diversity is needed so that all of the required skills
are covered by somebody in the team and each individual can be assigned a
particular role on the basis of their strengths and skills.A variety of personalities,
age groups, cultures, etc. can also bring creativity and a broad range of ideas to
the table.

Expansion Strategy:
The future of a business lies in the numbers of loyal students that they have the
capacity and competence of the employees, their investment strategy and the
business structure. If all of these factors are missing from a business (company),
then it won’t be too long before the business close shop. One of our major goals
of starting institute of career development and technical training is to build a
business that will survive off its own cash flow without the need for injecting
finance from external sources once the business is officially running. We know
that one of the best ways of gaining approval and getting more students over
is to offer admission a little bit cheaper than what is obtainable in the market
and we are well prepared to survive on lower profit margin for a while.
Institute of career development and technical training will make sure that the
right foundation, structures and processes are put in place to ensure that our staff
welfare is well taken of. Our institute’s corporate culture is designed to drive
our business to greater heights and training and re – training of our workforce is
at the top burner. As a matter of fact, profit-sharing arrangement will be made
available to all our management staff and it will be based on their performance
for a period of three years or more. We know that if that is put in place,
we will be able to successfully hire and retain the best hands we can get in
the industry. They will be more committed to help us build the business of our
dreams.

Development Plane
In setting up any business, the amount or cost will depend on the approach and
scale you want to undertake. If you intend to go big by renting a place, then you
would need a good amount of capital as you would need to ensure that your
employees are well taken care of, and that your
This means that the start-up can either be low or high depending on your goals,
vision and aspirations for your business. Also we plan to work hard so that we
can give our clients the best low prices ever. The tools and equipment that will
be used are nearly the same cost everywhere, and any difference in prices would
be minimal and can be overlooked. As for the detailed cost analysis for starting
a standard institute of career development and technical training it might differ
in other countries due to the value of their money. However, this is what it would
cost us to setup institute in the Lahore.
