Our approach to bass building is very simple:
For us it is a science, meaning high precision,
hi-tech components. Also it´s fine artisan
work, meaning special attention to every
detail, and finally it is an Art.
We are specialists in all types of bass
guitars, from standard four string to ten
string monstrosities, including double
necks, passive or active electronics,
and infinite varieties of woods and
finishes.

Woods Every Jerzy Drozd bass story begins right here.
All wood species we use on our projects are carefully
selected and combined in order to achieve the best sound,
stability, and look. Wood, as no other material used in bass
building, must be treated with special care. All wood pieces
are carefully stored and kiln dried before we employ
them in our bass creations.
Wood Extrawaganza
Since our most demanding
customers always ask us for the very best grade special woods
for body tops, we always were serious in delivering the best
possible grade woods for these special projects. Now you
have the great opportunity to choose your "dream" woods
for yourself. Our Wood Extravaganza service brings
you these "Black Label" grade woods for body tops just
for your fingertips. Choose that special amazing figured wood
for the body top of your next Jerzy Drozd bass.

Inlay works The inlay work is probably less important in order to
achieve the best sounding and performing bass; however, this part
of ìBass Artî building can bring that special touch to your very
special custom instrument. You can choose from the different
designs we offer on this page, and we also do custom inlays.
Just bring your handmade drawing, photo, or full design
in CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, or any .3ds, .dxf, or .iges
format and we will do it for you.
Pickups & Electronics Our propietary JeDXS
single coil split and JeDXD double coil pickups are used on
entire line of our basses. Powered by the latest generation
of Neodimium magnets brings powerful
gain with a wide dynamic range
inside of a hum-free, compact
design.
To power our instruments we use
Aguilar OBP-3 onboard preamps. Our
new JeDXS pickups were specially
designed and tuned to get the maximum
performance from these fine these fine
electronics.
