To: Dean Ludmilla Labagnoy,

Good day!

I am writing this letter to request in good faith, a recommendation letter from you as a
previous professor from this university. This is in fullfillment of one of the requirements of PLM
for their Graduate Programs.

I was part of batch 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication. After
graduation, I started working in the BPO industry. Eventually, I became Supervisor for Operations
for ten years. In this ten years with working in the corporate field with both local and
international clients, I found my true passion in teaching, mentoring and coaching. Last April
2016, I enrolled in Lyceum of Alabang for a Teacher Certification Program and after a year of
study finished my certification and filed for the board examination. I passed the 2017 Licensure
Examination for Teachers. The first school I worked for, I handled preschool students while the
second one are high school students. I was offered by one of the schools I handled a
principalship position due to my extensive leadership experience and their belief in my skills and
capability. However, I politely declined due to my personal belief that I need to learn more on
how to lead in the Academic world and how a Masteral degree can equip me with additional
skills and knowledge.

Despite the vertical alignment suggested by DepEd, I truly believe that I will be more
successful pursuing Educational Administration. My ten years of knowledge leading people in the
corporate world will be benificial in creating the bridge for students with what necessary skills,
knowledge and behaviors will make them successful in the corporate world.

Your recommendation letter will greatly help me realize a new dream. You may not have
remembered me Ma'am due to the many students you handled and I am not one of the popular
ones of my batch. I do remember you as a soft spoken professor who was never harsh with her
words and had a ready smile with her students. My path may be an unconventional one, but I
believe that our experiences will always lead us to where we can influence the most.

I want to thank you for paving the way for many professionals like me. Being a teacher
made me realize how demanding and special this job is. Thank you very much.

All the best,

Angelina Mirabueno
