ACTIVITY TITLE:

MINUTES OF CY 2019 NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL

Coordinator.

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
The activity was intended to inform students, Teachers, parents,
school personnel and stakeholders to be aware and be reminded of what
to do in times of calamities like earthquake to lessen and to mitigate the
casualties when this unexpected event happen.

OBJECTIVES:
The objective of the activity are as follows:

a. to evaluate the readiness and awareness of learners and

Deped personnel for earthquakes &,
b. to evaluate the coordination and communication
mechanism during the evacuation
procedure and response.

HIGHLIGHTS:

 Anibongon Integrated School Conducted the CY 2019

Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill
headed by the School Disaster Risk Reduction
Management Coordinator (SDRRM).
 SDRRM coordinator disseminate a letter that contains
information regarding with the activity with the division
memorandum on the conduct of the CY 2019
simultaneous Earthquake Drill to the students through
the advisers.
 Selected grade 10 students together with the SDRRM
coordinator survey the area of the school plaza to see to
it that it is the safest place in case of earthquake.
 The advisers joined their students to do the “DROP,
COVER AND LOOK AROUND” protocol until it is safe.
 A School Disaster risk reduction management
Coordinator (SDRRM) give his short comprehensive talk
on calamity preparedness specially in times of
earthquake.
  Class advisers join checking and counting the number
of students and other personnel ensuring that there
is/are no casualties.
 SDRRM coordinator appreciated the support and
collaborative efforts of students, teachers and other
stakeholders for the cooperation and for being one of the
agents of ensuring safety of the school specially during
calamities.

RESULTS: Successful conduct of CY 2019 quarter National

Simultaneous Earthquake Drill.
Achievement of Objectives: All objectives were attained.
