I believe over all, our roller coaster, The String Theory, went very well.

Our group effort was

on point. We all worked hard to complete, design, and to create our roller coaster. Our design
itself was very successful, our roller coaster came out the way we designed it to be and in the
end the marble went all the way through the roller coaster. We had over 30 seconds, that
includes the drops, the funnels, and the hills. In the end, The String Theory was exactly how we
pictured it. The String Theory reached the time that was needed, the design quality was
structured amazingly, our theme and name were both shown in an exquisite way.

With our roller coaster, The String Theory, what did go so well was when dropping the
marble. Our roller coaster structure was phenomenal. It was high up, leveled, sturdy, and more.
When dropping the marble, every once in a while the marble would stop. We tried fixing this
problem, but it kept occurring no matter what we did. And right before we presented our project,
we had to take a part of our roller coaster off and remake it, because the marble kept stopping
in that area and it wasn’t sliding down. It does take time for the marble to go all the way through
the roller coaster, but you just have to keep on trying and that’s what we did. In the end, the
marble went all the way through the roller coaster.

Next time I’d work more on the theme of the roller coaster. We had a sign that said “The
String Theory” and it had all of our initials on the sign. We also had string hanging from all
around the sides if the roller coaster. I did love our theme The String Theory, but I wish we
spent more time on it and express the theme more within the roller coaster itself. Like I wish we
had colorful string, and that we place it neatly not just stick the string into tape and place it on. I
always wish the sign was much bigger so you can see it and so it stands out.

I’d make sure my roller coaster is more exciting, by next time creating elaborate jumps,
drops, hoops, and more. That would give the roller coaster a sharp and fun look. We did have
most of those thing but we didn’t take it to an extreme level. Seeing the marble do things you
wouldn’t expect, would make the roller coaster more exciting. Also I’d like to elaborate more on
the theme, to make the whole roller coaster tie together.

Overall as an individual, I think I performed outstandingly. I designed the roller coaster on my

iPad, before we got started on it physically. I made pillars, tunnels, turns, slopes, I helped tape
things together, I helped cut paper for my group members, I did the assignments that pertained
to this project, overall I helped my group with everything. We all worked as a team instead of
individuals. I put my best effort into our roller coaster to make it a success, that’s why I think I
performed outstandingly.

For next year's class, the tables should be set to the amount of groups there are, so each
group has their own table to work on. They also will have their own space and so they wouldn’t
be doing their roller coaster on floor. And if they want to do their roller coaster on the floor, they
should be able to sit in the hallway and work on it. Our classroom got a little bit overwhelming
and crowded. People projects we’re getting messed up, people were running around the room
not caring, there wasn’t that much space to move around with all the roller coasters. That’s all I
think that should be different for next year's class. Overall I lived this project, it was fun to do,
and it was a great way to become friends with someone you never talked to before, since you
have to work together.
