Fay Mancebo-Maturan is a registered nurse at Weill Cornell Medicine which is a biomedical research
unit and medical school in New York City. They are committed to excellence in patient care, scientific
discovery and the education of future physicians in New York City and around the world. Ms.
Mancebo-Maturan specializes in colon and rectal surgery nursing care.

Born in Cebu City in the Philippines, Fay obtained a B.S. in Zoology in 1991 and a M.S. in
Environmental Studies in 1997 from the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB). She later
earned her B.S.N. at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2009. She was honored as the Most Outstanding
Alumni from the University of the Philippines in 2001. In her spare time Fay enjoys swimming and scuba
diving.

Fay lovingly dedicates this recognition to her loving parents, Dr. Samuel T. Mancebo and Dr. Jesusa F.
Mancebo who have loved her unconditionally and inspired and supported her all the way to achieve her
dreams.
