Specifications
LEE COLORTRAN ZOOM MINI SPECIFICATIONS
Housing shall consist of die cast and
extruded aluminum components- Finish shall
be high temperature black.
Optical Train shall consist of a two pln pre-
focus lampholder accommodating 300 or 600
watl lamps, a specular double flatted reflector
and plano convex lenses of low expansion
glass. Each lens system is continuously
adjustable to achieve A field angles through
B lens configuration.
This gate assembiy shall contain four adjust-
able stainless steel shutters, each operating
wlthin its own independent plane. Each shut
ter shall rotate plus or minus 30o within the
gate, for a total angular rotation between
adjacent shutter blades of 120'. These blades
shall be equlpped with thermally insulated
handles with finger holes.
Each unit is provided with a pattern slot, and
an opt onal accessory holder as specified by
catalog number; a socket assembly designed
for rapid filament alignment through exter-
nally fitted adjustment handles to perm t
peak/flat fleld control without use of tools.
The entire lamp assembly shall be eas ly
removpd for lan'p 'eplacemenl Each lFns is
cont nuously adjustable to achieve soft or
hard fieid quality. All operator handles shall
be thermally lnsulated.
Sockei shall be preclsion aligned, type TP-27
or equal UL lsted, steatlte insulated, with
silver plated brass contacts. The socket shall
be rated for 1000 watts, 600 volts, and 250'C
contlnuous operation. Rated lamp seal
temperatures shall not be exceeded.
Perlormance with a 600 watt,2000 hour wlth
A field shall be C beam candlepower (See
reference chart). All performance data is
measured ln cosine locus. where the beam
angle is 2/3 of the field angle.
Lens Housing assembly shall contain plano
convex lenses mounted ln dle cast lens
holders, secured by push on tasteners. The
lens holders move withln ralls of the bottom
extrusion, sliding on Torlon glides. The
hinged extruded housing allows immediate
accesslbllity to optical components for
nai'lte1a1ce. witl'oul usage or any e,(lerior
fasteners. The top housing (with lntegral
handle) shall be secured by two interna
spring actuated tasteners.
Mounling Lrnit shall be provided with a heavy
steelyoke, a painted malleable iron C-Ciamp,
adjustable for up to 2" l.D. pipe, with a
tapped and threaded steel hanger pln. Color-
frame holder shall be located internally, with
no exposed mounting surfaces.
Accessory holder (optlonal) holds either 3"
diameter or 4" width rectangular patterns,
plus provides means for mountilg the:ris
(custorner installed). The accessory holder
shall flt dlrectly into the pattern slot, provided
in each tixture.
