Description: This shipyard is the largest modern shipbuilding enterprise in south china. The company is located on Longxue island, Nansha district of
Guangzhou with a very favorable geographic location, which is about 70km to Guangzhou city and adjacent to HongKong, and Macao. The
1st phase construction program of shipbuilding capacity is 2.12million dwt per year, about delivery of 20 vessels per year. When the
capacity expansion projects completed, the shipbuilding capacity will be up to 3.5 million dwt.
In the first half of the year in 2008, the first vessel (308,000dwt VLCC) began production and was delivered in the fourth quarter of 2009.
It is a significant milestone for GLS to have have put the first vessel into production, whichhas created the new development and industrial
upgrading for the Guangdong area.

The flagship products of the shipyard include a wide range of civil ships like the VLCC, the VLOC, large bulk carriers, large crude/product oil
tankers, large container vessels, Panamax bulk carrier/product oil tankers, and high-tech ships specifically designed to transport LNG.

Description: Dalian Daeyang Shipyard (DDSY) is subsidiary to Daeyang Shipping CO., Ltd, which is headquartered in Seoul,
Korea. DDSY initiated operation in June, 2009 specializing in large ship repair & conversion, offshore project
(FPSO, drill rig) repair, conversion and newbuilding.

DDSY extends 560,000 sqm. in area, equipped with 2 dry docks of 300,000 DWT (360m x 78m x 13.5m) &
100,000DWT (250m x 41m x 12.5m), 4 piers total 1,310 meters in length, and other state-of-art facilities,

The yard is Close to Dayaowan Port, there is only 3 sea miles from the no.1 / 2 anchorage of Dalian Port,
(yard's anchorage area: 38°57'57"N / 121°49'49"E), the min-draft of yard's sea-route is 7.5 meters.

The max height of tide water is 3 meters. The min draft in front of no.1 & 2 dry-docks gate is 7 meters.
