Motion is described as a change in position. The simplest kind of motion is motion in a straight line and at a constant rate. Speed
describes the rate of motion of an object. It is measured with a speedometer. It has a pointer which moves up when the vehicle
goes fast and down when the vehicle slows down. Speed is indicated in terms of kilometer per hour or kph. Speed and velocity are
both used to describe motion. But velocity is the rate of motion or speed in a certain direction. So, velocity is a more complete
description of motion.
If the speedometer of a car indicates 70 kph, has the car moved for an hour? Or has the car traveled 70 kilometers?
Speed is indicated in the speedometer but neither the time nor the distance traveled is indicated. When the terms speed and
velocity are used, the total amout of time and the distance traveled are not specified. However, the relationship between distance,
speed and time are shown below. If any of the three factors are known, you can calculate the third factor.
Distance travelled = speed x time
Ex. # 1. A car travels ata constant speed of twenty meters per second. How far will the car travel in ten seconds? in forty
seconds?
Solution: Distance = 20 meters x 10 seconds = 200 meters
Ex. # 2. How long would it take the bus to travel two hundred meters if it was moving at a speed of twenty meters per second?
Ex. # 3. If a car travels at 500 meters in ten seconds, what is the speed of the car?

Solution: Speed = 500 m = 50 m/sec 10 sec But you know it is difficult to travel from one place to another at a
constant speed. Sometimes, you need to stop or rest. Your speed may also change as you go uphill or downhill. You may start out
moving rapidly; slow down then, speed up again. Speed is usually not constant. An increase in speed or velocity is called
acceleration. A decrease in speed or velocity is called deceleration.

Ang tulong ay may kahulugan


Sa bawat taong nilalang
May tulong na paimbabaw
Mayroong sa puso ay bukal.

Ang tulong din kung magkaminsan


Di dapat na agad bitiwan
Alamin mo muna, kaibigan

Kung siya ba‟y tunay na nangangailangan.


Ang pagtulong dapat ingatan
Kung kaninong tao ipapataw
Kung sa palagay mo‟y abusado
Ang tulong mo‟y ikandidato.

Sagutin ang mga sumusunod na tanong:


1. Ano ang isang magandang ugali na dapat ibigay sa kapwa?
2. Bakit kailangang tumulong sa kapwa?
3. Kailan tayo dapat tumulong kapwa?
4. Dapat bang tumulong ng pabigla-bigla?
Day 2  Isagawa Natin
Gawain
Isulat kung Tama o Mali ang isinasaad ng pangungusap. Ilagay ang sagot sa sagutang papel.

Day 3  Isapuso Natin

Gumupit ng puso sa bond paper.


Magbalik-tanaw ka. Isipin ang mga taong nakasalamuha mo na iyong nabigyan na ng tulong.. Isulat ito sa isang
bahagi ng puso na iyong ginupit. Sa kabilang bahagi naman ay isulat kung ano ang ginawa mo upang matulungan ang
taong ito.

Day 4  Tandaan Natin


Ang pagtulong ay di masama
Kung sa palagay mong ito‟y tama
Huwag tumulong sa tamad
Hayaang sila‟y magsumikap.

Ang ating buhay ay hindi natin sarili. Ibig ng Diyos na ihandog natin ito sa ating kapwa sa simpleng pagtulong
at pagkalinga sa ating kapwa.Maraming paraan ng pagtulong sa ating kapwa, karaniwan sa mga ito ay ang pagtugon sa
kanilang pangangailang sa panahon ng kahirapan. Huwag nating kaligtaan ang mga pagkakataong kailangan nila ng ating
tulong o kalinga. Ngunit may mga pagkakataon naman na dapat alam natin kung sino yung mga dapat nating tulungan
sapagkat may ilang tao na umaabuso sa tulong na ibinibigay sa kanila ng kanilang kapwa.
Isabuhay Natin
Basahin at tapusin ang mga pangungusap. Isulat ang sagot sa inyong sagutang papel.
