    Chapter-1- Acid,Base and Salts.

    Acid- Acid are those substance which have a


    sour taste, change the color of blue litmus to
    red litmus and release hydrogen gas when react
    with metal.
    According to ‘Arrhenius’-Acid are those
    substance which give off hydrogen (H+) ion in
    aqueous solution.
    Hydrochloric acid- HCL H+ +CL-
