1 KX-TD188 You can connect one KX-TD188 expansion card which
(E1 Expansion card) supports
E1 line(DR2,TIE-C / TIE-P). For only KX-TD1232.
2 KX-TD290 You can connect one KX-TD290 expansion card which
(PRI Expansion card) supports
PRI ISDN line. For only KX-TD1232.
3 DECT Wireless You can connect KX-TD146 DECT expansion card, KX-TD142
DECT CS(Cell Station) and you can use KX-T7590 DECT
PS(Portable Station).
4 Lunch / Break Mode DIL1:1 Lunch/Break ringing group assignment will be added.
5 Message Lamp You can assign Message button which shows same other
extension's Message Lamp display.
6 Use the Voice Mail port You can change the Voice Mail port Name by system

1. KX-TD188 (E1 Line Unit)
We can connect one KX-TD188 expansion card which support E1 line(DR2/E&M-C/E&M-P).
For only KX-TD1232.

Condition-1 : Installation
-We can connect one KX-TD188 on KX-TD1232 Master system, we can not connect KX-TD188
on
KX-TD1232 Slave system and KX-TD816.
When KX-TD188 is installed,
(a) We can not connect any CO line card (TD180, TD184, TD185, TD280, TD286)
on KX-TD1232 Master and Slave system ,
(b) We can use 8 basic analog CO line on the Master system ,
(c) We can not use 8 basic analog CO line on the Slave system.
Condition-2 : Channel
-We can select DR2 / E&M-C / E&M-P / Disable on each 30 channel.

Example used above table.
CO32 (E1 Unit port No.8) refers to CO port No.5. It means that if CO32 rings,
PBX is going to search DIL1:1/DIL1:N ringing extension of analog CO5.
2. KX-TD290(PRI : Primary Rate Interface Expansion Unit)
We can connect one KX-TD290 expansion card which support PRI(Primary Rate Interface).
For only KX-TD1232.

Condition-1 : Installation
-We can connect one KX-TD290 on KX-TD1232 Master system, we can not connect KX-TD290
on
KX-TD1232 Slave system and KX-TD816.
When KX-TD290 is installed,
(a)We can not connect any CO line card (TD180, TD184, TD185, TD280, TD286)
on KX-TD1232 Master system.
(b) We can not connect any CO line card (TD180, TD184, TD185) on KX-TD1232 Slave
System.
We can connect TD280 and TD286 by only “Extension” setting.
(c)We can use 8 basic analog CO line on the Master system ,
(d)We can not use 8 basic analog CO line on the Slave system.

Condition-1 : Installation
(1) DECT I/F unit(KX-TD146)
KX-TD1232 can connect two DECT I/F on master system.
KX-TD816 can connect one DECT I/F unit.
(2) CS: Cell Station(KX-TD142)
One KX-TD146 can connect six CSs. One CS has 4 speech path.
(3) PS: Portable Station(KX-TD7590)
Single / Double KX-TD1232 can use 64 PSs.
KX-TD816 can use 16 PS.
Condition-2 : Other
(1) We support Handover.(To change the radio zone when you are talking with other party.)
(2) We support GAP standard.
4. Lunch / Break Mode
You can assign eight Lunch / Break Group in the system which is no relation to Extension
Group.
Each Lunch/Break group can register up to eight extension.
We can assign Lunch / Break DIL1:1 Ringing Group for each CO line.

Condition
- PITS / SLT extension can join in the Lunch/Break Group. ISDN / OPX extension can not join
it.
- If you don't assign Lunch/Break DIL1:1 Ringing Group No., DIL1:N(Day)/DIL1:1(Day) ringing
will work.
- Lunch/Break DIL1:1 ringing does not have delayed ringing.
- Lunch/Break Mode work only in Day time, not in Night time.
- Call log is recorded at the lowest number extension in the Lunch/Break group.
- When you set LOGOUT / FWD / DND, Lunch/Break ringing does not occur.
- When Lunch / Break mode is on, if you press dial "#", you see the "Lunch Mode" or
"Break Mode"
on the LCD.
- You can select Automatic or Manual starting on Lunch/Break mode by system
programming[101].
5. Message Lamp
We can assign Message buttons which show same Message Lamp display of other extension.
We have two kind of Message Waiting Lamp. One is own MW, and other is Other extension
MW.
Other extension MW includes Phantom extension.
If someone sets the MW to EXT.A, both of MW lamp on EXT.A and other extensions' MW lamp
for
EXT.A becomes RED.

11. FWD setting using EIA software
You can assign the Call Forward setting by using EIA software. This feature is useful when you
install
KX-TD1232/816, then you don't have to go at each place of extension to set CALL FORWARD.
You can set this setting on the "2.Station - 10.FWD/DND Setting" screen on EIA software.

PBX sends Caller ID to Voice Mail.
When you activate VTR(Voice Mail Transfer) or 2Way-REC feature, PBX send Caller ID
information
to Voice Mail.

16. Cordless PITS
When you program some extension port as which cordless PITS is connectable, some Speaker
Phone
features do not work on the each extension port. This is the feature for KX-TD7894/KX-
TD7895/KX-
T7888/KX-T7885 which do not have SP-PHONE button. The following features do not work when
you
program extension port as cordless PITS.
(1) BGM
(2) LCS : If you set Hands Free Mode, Private mode will work.
(3) Voice Calling Mode
(4) Paging
