Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

I feel so honored to stand up here. I am also pleased to extend my warmest greetings and best
wishes to all of you. Thank you for letting me speak up here to share some pieces of mind about our
big topic that I’m going to share today.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have great theme today. It is “Entrepreneur Take Over The World”.

But first of all, let me ask you two questions which are essential in my speech here. Why is it
important to be an entrepreneur? Why do we must have this entrepreneurial spirit since early stage
of our life? As we know that entrepreneur is a person who has interest to do something, then arranges
new way to produce and market it. It means that entrepreneur is an important factor in our economic
growth. Besides that, it is also matter for ourselves, obviously. Because we can learn more about our
passion, what we are into, train our self-confidence, improve our creativity, learn how to manage our
time, and many more.

Did you know? Almost all of developed countries as stated by President of Indonesia, Joko
Widodo, 14 percent as entrepreneur. Even more than it. On the other hand, in Indonesia which is
developing countries, we only have about 2 – 3.1 percent. The goal of our country is to be developed,
and the percentage of the entrepreneurs in Indonesia has to be increased dramatically. We have to
prepare a better country for the upcoming generations.

Nowadays, entrepreneurs from young ages are started to be able to design a business that
improve their standard. They train their brain to be creative and make money. For instances, Nicholas
Kurniawan who throw himself to be ornamental fish exporter. He has gained hundred millions per
month. Simple, but calling money. Nadiem Makarim, the one we know for his unimaginable idea and
he come up succeed, the CEO of Gojek Indonesia. Ahmad Zaky, CEO of Bukalapak. Started by his dream
to build up a marketplace in his garage. How can we imagine? Such a miracle, right? These are
instances of entrepreneurs from our country.

Indirectly, they have helped the economy of low income society in Indonesia especially. They
make an opprtunity for many people to have job in their company.

Let me close with one final thought. Entrepreneur is one thing that is important in our life. It
can change our life standard to be better in the future. Be loyal to your future, not your past. The true
entrepreneur is a doer, not only the dreamer. Why should be hired by someone when you can hire
someone?
