Now, I am the Safety Manager of the VINATA
( VINACONEX – TAISEI International Joint Venture ) I have been
managing and controlling the safety activities in some projects
of VINATA in the South of Vietnam
I have been working around 16 years in many construction
sites with over 10 experienced years working with foreign
companies, I have had a lot of professional skills, safety
experience, ... and could do well the duties and responsibilities
of a Local Safety Manager to support and assist Project Team to
do these things as following :
1/.Ability to arrange the HSE (Health-Safety-Environment)
& Security Plan of Project and arrange the basic Safety training
document for all kinds of works.
2/.Ability to organize and manage the safety management
line to control the overall safety activities in construction site.
3/.Site patrol to audit and inspect daily all safety matters
and workplaces of Sub-contractors working in construction site.
4/.Ability to translate safety documents, other concerned
documents regarding to existing Safety activities in site ,
chemical MSDS ( Material Safety Date Sheet ) or daily meeting.
 5/.Carry out daily safety induction training for local and
foreign workers, personnel.
6/.Inspect JHA procedures.
7/.Check the safety conditions of vehicles, construction
equipments, machineries, plants, hand-tools....
8/.Make out or check the Work Permit system, manage
and control Security activities.
9/.Make out all kinds of reports by using my computer
skill of software office. Arrange new safety form up to the
needs of safety and security activities.
10/.Investigate incident/accident and I can solve other
problems which were concerned to safety and security
activities.
11/.Solve the concerned matters due to safety and
security with Vietnamese Government ( Local Police Station and
Local Authorities ).
12/.Follow strictly instructions of Site Manager to control
and manage local Staff of HSE Department.
I have a good background about many kinds and types of
materials, instruments, substances, chemicals,..... which will
support effectively for safety activities in this project.
I have a strong mind of a responsible Local Safety
Manager, self-confidence, highly motivated personality and
good communication skill. I put all my honesty, faith and
straight forwardness in the job.
I do not like smoking and drinking, so I am easy to work in
the high pressure and having ability to work independently with
the highest exact levels.
