to one of the “Host Institutions” through contacting your School administration.

Texas Heart Institute: Doesn’t offer electives in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics (you can

Uni. of Toledo: Only accepts students from (China, Ethiopia, India, Jordan, Lebanon,
Pakistan, Philippines, Zambia)

Cleveland Clinic: (BEST place to go) No tuition fees, only $400 application fees/month
TOEFL score required: High in Reading and Listening and Good in Writing and Speaking
(Can be waived by Secondary English Education = IGCSE)
Mayo Clinic: (BEST place to go) No tuition fees, only $350 application fees, #1 in USA
TOEFL score required: minimum score of 104 (Can be waived if your Medical School
teaches Medicine in English = get Letter of English Education)

($1000 application fees, but with 5 alternatives for your choice)
Sponsor = a doctor that you will have to find on the university website, then contact
via email, requesting him/her to sponsor you elective rotation at the university hospital.
Sponsor DOESN’T mean lending you money! Simply means allowing you to participate
under his/her supervision
