CEO/BOARD OF education
Dear Taxpayer:

Delivering the best education and training for our

community is our job at Autry Technology Center.
Since we opened our doors in 1967, we have
connected generations of students to brighter
futures and assisted many local businesses with on-
the-job training.

We are proud to hear about the young welder who is

now making over $50 an hour, just a few short years
after leaving our program. Success stories like his,
and many others, inspire the staff to do what they

As Aerosock continues to grow, add employees and expand their

windsocks and providing Autry Technology Center decals. She serves as
a strong example to young women considering going into business.

Aerosock exemplifies how well the business incubation process can

work. The company moved to Enid with goals to provide a steady
second income and it has, instead, blossomed into a thriving business.
Aerosock is an advocate, client and partner for Autry. The relationship
benefits both organizations: Aerosock receives consulting, training and
all the benefits of being a part of The Center, and in turn; the
company helps Autry better serve Enid and other growing
companies.

This partnership continues to grow. Both organizations

look forward to more successes. This collaboration
allows Autry and The Center to fulfill its mission,
while helping Aerosock grow far beyond its
original goals.

The Autry Educational Foundation provides

financial assistance to help those who cannot
afford education and training. From the
student who suddenly had no housing, to
the single mother who needed help getting
eye glasses, to many who could not pay all
their tuition or afford all their books, the funds
from the foundation help students toward a
brighter future.

In 2009-10 the foundation presented over

$10,000 in grants to individuals who needed
it. These grants improved the lives of nearly
50 students. Most importantly—whether the
check was for $50 or $500—these awards turn
dreams into successes and make it possible
for students to succeed personally and
professionally.
