ActSafe invented the first power ascender back in 1997. We are

the second generation of the innovative ActSafe ACC Power
Ascender. It gives you all the features you have always looked for
to enable quick, safe and reliable access to heights and depths.
The battery-operated ActSafe ACC Ascender works as a ­personal
elevator that ascends or descends a standard rope. It allows
­maintenance, inspection and repair personnel to easily move up
and down in a manner that is safe, efficient and economical.
The method is invaluable in places where access is difficult or
­im­possible by other means. The ActSafe ACC Power Ascender
allows rapid installation and dismantling and is a competitive
alternative to scaffolding, sky-lifts and powered platforms.
Access without compromise
The ActSafe ACC Power Ascender is used in a number of ­indus­tri­al
applications as well as search & rescue operations. Only i­magination

Renewable energy
Work on turbines is one area where the ActSafe Power Ascender
has been proven extremely useful. Irrespective it’s about inspection
or repair, the working methods offers a short set-up time resulting
in minimal shutdown of the turbine.
Telecom and power
Repetitive climbing in towers, ropes etc. can lead to wearing injuries
on the staff. The ActSafe ACC Power Ascender can easily ascend or
descend a technician including his gear, and hence eliminate a lot

The ActSafe ACC ascender can be installed at the anchor point.
Speed and direction are then controlled with the remote,
­allow­ing the operator to do his work without having the
­ascender in his way.
The ActSafe ACC ascender has an integrated high-power battery.
For users requiring even more power, an additional battery can
be connected. A battery indicator on the front shows the power
status.
