AFFIDAVIT

I, Joselito Valle, of legal age and a resident of No. 23 Masangkay St., Binondo, Manila,

after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state that:

1. That I am currently a Barangay Captain of Binondo, Manila;

2. That since 2008, I was the Barngay Tanod then of the said Barangay until 2004;

3. That I know Dr. Joseph Romero because he has been residing in our Barangay

since 1996 and has been known to be a reputable doctor therein;

4. That sometime in June of 1998, I learned of the marriage of Dr. Romero to one

Elaine Romero because the latter came to reside in the same house in Masangkay

St.;

5. That sometime in 1999 and since, I have not seen Mrs. Elaine Romero in our

Barangay;

6. That sometime in August of 1999, I saw Dr. Joseph Romero with another woman

whom I later on knew to be Jeanette Romero;

7. That in a Barangay Outreach in December of 1999, I saw Dr. Romero with

Jeanette Romero;

8. That in February of 2000, I learned that the two got married;

9. That from 2000 and since then, they have been together as husband and wife, as

they purported in our community;

10. That I am executing this affidavit for any purpose it may serve;

Manila, after having been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state

1. That I am a cousin of Elaine Prieto Romero;

2. That on 18 June 1998, I attended her marriage with one Joseph Romero in Manila

Cathedral;

3. That seven (7) months thereafter, they have separated;

4. That this affidavit is executed for any purpose it may serve;
