ABOUT Junior Chamber International:

Junior Chamber International is a Worldwide Federation of Young leaders &

Entrepreneurs.
JCI is a worldwide community of young active citizens ages 18-40 who share
the belief that in order to create positive change, we must take collective
action to improve ourselves and the world around us. Engaging in activities
ranging from community development to international projects, members
demonstrate their social responsibility and improve themselves through
participation, leadership and action

ABOUT JCI ORANGE CITY:

JCI Orange City is one of the oldest & largest Chapter in India. It is the pride of
not only Nagpur city but also of Zone 9 & JCI India

JCI Orange City has membership strength of more than 250 members coming
from various sections of the society. They include Business tycoons,
entrepreneurs, Chartered Accountants, Engineers, Doctors, Self employed
Professionals, salaried employees, government employees etc.

We are basically a young people’s organization providing leadership skills to

young people through the training in individual development, business
development, and management skills. This has been the motto of our
organization.

The members of this organization are not only successful in their own
ventures but also leaders in various Professional & Social organization like
VIA, NVCC, ICAI, TiE, VMA etc.
AREAS OF OPPORTUNITY:

Junior Chamber International gives platform to young members to develop

leadership & entrepreneurship through five areas of opportunities:

Indivaidual Opportunity: JCI Orange City provides leading edge training

opportunity with certified training programs as well as personal development.
e.g.: Effective Public Speaking, Leadership & Parliamentarian, Speech Craft,
Goal Setting, Principles of Success etc

Management Opportunity: JCI Orange City offers its members training and
experience as team members and leaders, including the opportunity to hold
at the local, regional, national & international levels of organization. Members
can acquire administrative and operational experience by participating in
projects involving thousands of participants, extensive planning and large
budgets. As officers/members, members can learn valuable skills, people
skills, organization skills, financial and budgeting basics and advertisement
and promotional strategies to name a few.
e.g: World’s Largest Musical Chair competition, Vintage Car rally, Spell Bee,
Judwa No. 1 (Twin Festival), HUM TUM Couple Contest, Letter to God, 1 km
long banner painting etc

Community Opportunity:
Many projects of Jaycees with focus on global concern as environmental
concern, economic prosperity, corruption eradication, social evils etc are
conducted every year.

Business Area:
Business gets huge boost by support of Jaycees in terms of goodwill, publicity
etc. JCI Orange City provides its members with the necessary contact,
leadership & personal business growth opportunities. Numerous forums and
programs prepare members to develop young entrepreneur, managers and
business executives.
Eg: Meet on budget, Tax Talk, Business Seminars & Workshops, Trade fairs
etc.

Internationalism:
In an increasingly interdependent world, members realize the need for
international collaboration, understanding, tolerance and peace. JCI provides
members numerous opportunities to become involved in global issues
through international conference, academics and programs.
