Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Mayor Knoll at 6:30 p.m.

Agenda
243.2010 Corbett: That the agenda for the September 7, 2010 meeting be accepted as
amended.

Minutes
244.2010 Greve: That the minutes of the August 9, 2010 regular meeting be adopted.
CARRIED.

School Zone Signs


245.2010 Greve: That school zone signs be erected on 4th Avenue for the Seventh-day
Adventist School, with the speed limit remaining at 40 km/hr.
CARRIED.

Airstream Club Request


246.2010 Helmuth: That the Town accommodate the Airstream Club’s request to rent
Centennial Park on the 2011 May long weekend for approximately 25 trailers,
having access to power, water and access to the arena lobby, kitchen and
washrooms and that they be charged $50 per trailer.

Holidays – Colin Aebig


247.2010 Reimer: That Colin Aebig be authorized to attend an all-expenses-paid trip to
Orlando, Florida by EMCO

Land Annexation – Ptn SW 01-43A-03-W3


251.2010 Corbett: That the Town proceed in making application to Community Planning to
restructure by adding 77 acres of the Ptn SW 01-43A-03-W3 and any roadways to
access the said land into Town boundaries. Furthermore, that the Town agree to
pay the RM of Rosthern No. 403 $25,000 for tax loss compensation on the said
land.

Recycle Bins
252.2010 Corbett: That we order 150 generic green stackable recycle bins from
ECOTAINER at a cost of $10.55 each.
CARRIED.

2011 Homestyles Show


253.2010 Greve: That the Town purchase two booths at the Saskatoon Homestyles Show
being held March 17-20, 2011.
CARRIED.

4th Avenue Paving Loan


254.2010 Helmuth: That application be made to the Local Government Committee for
permission to borrow the sum of $385,000 in 2010, repayable over a period of 10
years, for the purpose of 4th Avenue paving; and that the amount of the said debt
shall be payable in 10 installments of $49,306.94 in years 2011 to 2020 inclusive,
with interest at a rate of 4.67 per centum per annum, payable at least annually.

Town Office Construction Loan


255.2010 Isfeld: That application be made to the Local Government Committee for
permission to borrow the sum of $355,000 in 2010, repayable over a period of 10
years, for the purpose of the Town Office construction; and that the amount of the
said debt shall be payable in 10 installments of $45,464.84, in years 2011 to 2020
inclusive, with interest at a rate of 4.67 per centum per annum, payable at least
annually.
