Role: Market Analyst – Fixed Income Department
Responsibilities:
• Sourcing and Adding of ‘Terms & Conditions’ (T&C’s) for Eurobonds & Issuers (Company details,
Parent Subsidiary Information, NAIC/SIC codes, Credit Rating) on Database to support wide range of
our products. Resolving queries put forth by internal and external clients through Customer
Relationship Management Tool – SIEBEL regarding data discrepancies within the timeframe given.
• Analyzing the data with the help of financial calculators to provide ‘Value added’ information to the
clients & daily task of creation of formulae for Interest Rate calculation & principle payment for
different kind of bonds.
• Assisting the ‘Reuters Pricing Services’ team in pricing the bonds by providing them with the inputs
along with catering to queries raised by Price Evaluators in relation to Terms and Conditions of Bonds.
Updating Reference Indices Rates on daily basis used by Bond Analytics.
• Maintaining contacts and Constant interaction with External Sources (EUROPROSPECTUS, ICMA,
MPD WERT PAPIER and Factiva) Trustees, Agents, Lead Managers and Clearing Houses to assure
accuracy of data and help resolve our client queries.
• Coordinating with ‘Reuters New Issues Team’ & different teams within Fixed Income Department for
procuring the Terms & Conditions, get a timely update on bond add requests.

Other Tasks:
• Integral part of Quality Hit Team which is responsible for internal quality checks by running the SQL
queries to check various data discrepancies in the information fed by the production analysts and
corrections of discrepancies through bulk uploads, carrying out a complete RCA (Root Cause
Analysis) and reporting the same to higher level management.
• Writing, amending the internal procedures of the process, Training, Process Clarification and
Documentation for recruits on Thomson Reuter’s database, Data flows and Products.
• Monitor and prepare daily, weekly and monthly target statistics for measuring the team’s performance
and check the quality of responses sent to the external clients.
• Ensure 24/5 Coverage in the team in order to make sure effective service to the clients globally and act
as a back up for 4 other teams.
• Organize weekly Client Calls to address their issues with the data provided by Thomson Reuters.
