Are you ready for calculus?

This packet is for incoming calculus AB and BC students. It gives you a feel for the types of skills
typically required in our study of calculus. This packet is due on the second day of class next year. Do
not put this packet off until the end of summer, but rather work a few problems per week. The efforts
you put in now learning or relearning these concepts, the easier your transition into the wonderful
world of calculus will be. If you have any questions regarding these questions or calculus in general,
please email me at mrkorpi@korpisworld.com Have a great summer.—Korpi (p.s. this document is also
available at www.korpisworld.com )

Directions: Clearly work out each problem on a separate sheet of paper without using a calculator.
