that Texas-based musicians Clay Walker, Pat Green, Eli Young Band and special guest
Bonnie Bishop are scheduled to perform at the Evening Inaugural Celebration on Janu-
ary 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Palmer Events Center.

“We’ve lined up such a solid group of performers to top off what will be a most histori-
cally-significant day for our great state,” said Weisie Steen, Chair of the 2011 Texas In-
augural Committee. “Texas is fertile ground for good music, so the Evening Inaugural
Celebration showcases a few home-grown favorites that have become household names.
It’s sure to be a night to remember!”

Although the Inaugural Evening Celebration is an invitation-only event, those interested


in attending may request an invitation by emailing info@2011texasinaugural.com. Rec-
ommended attire is cocktail rather than formal.

Mayor John Cook was honored with the 2010 Road Hand
