“Journey through

the Quran”
with
Sheikh Omar Baloch
Introduction

"And the believers should not all go out to fight. Of every troop of them, a party only should go
forth, that they (who are left behind) may gain sound knowledge in religion, and that they may
warn their folk when they return to them, so that they may guard themselves against evil." [Al-
Tauba 9:122]

Education makes man a right thinker and a proper decision-maker by providing him knowledge
from the external world, teaching him to rationalize and reason, and familiarizing him with
thorough understanding of history, so that he may be a better judge of the present. By means of
education, he finds himself in a room with all its windows open to the wide range of
opportunities life offers.

The field of education, covering ethics, philosophy, religion, skills and general knowledge, is a
very broad and essential one. The significance of learning in allowing the individual to put his
potentials to optimal use is self-evident. Without education, the training of the human minds is
incomplete. No individual is a human being in the proper sense until he has been educated.

With these visions in mind, MasterPIES is pleased to inform you about our new initiative to
bring selected speakers and scholars from all around the world to Malaysia as our effort to cater
the need of today‟s Muslims to be competent people who will be educated in the Islamic
sciences as well as all other beneficial disciplines.
