 INTRODUCTION
A heritage of hunting separates Nikko Stirling
from its competitors. Nikko Stirling does
not produce spectacles, jewelry, cameras or
microscopes. We specialize only in Optics for
hunting.

Our philosophy is to provide the hunters or target shooters

with optics they need to be successful in their sport. Since 1956 this has been
our goal. Today the Nikko Stirling range is a result of the evolution of solving the
challenges faced by hunters throughout the world.

During 2006 Nikko Stirling is proud to be celebrating 50 years since its inception
by Malcolm John Fuller (1924-1994).

Born in Australia, Malcolm Fuller had an early exposure to firearms and hunting on
Australian farms that were abundant with wild boar, deer, goats, foxes and rabbits.
This early exposure and subsequent lifelong pursuit of hunting larger game provided
Malcolm Fuller with tremendous practical experience that has been a cornerstone to
the development of riflescopes under the Nikko Stirling range.

Initially utilizing optics factories that were emerging in Japan in the 1950s, he founded
the Stirling Scope Company Ltd in Tokyo, Japan to manufacture and export Nikko
Stirling riflescopes to Europe, Africa and Australasia.

Few other makers of riflescopes can claim their origins in hunting; most are
divisions of related optics factories. This distinction is particularly important in the
development of today's range of Nikko Stirling riflescopes. Practical experience
incorporated into our designs combined with manufacturing and component quality
ensures the hunter's needs are met and satisfied.

Today the range of Nikko Stirling riflescopes offers a choice for all firearms enthusiasts.
Serious hunters look to our DIAMOND series scopes, While new enthusiasts start
out with a MOUNTMASTER scope on their air gun or .22 rifles.

European hunters have traditionally chosen the 30mm body
tube riflescopes for low light conditions in which they hunt. Put
simply the larger 30mm body tubes allow designers to make a
riflescope that captures more light to be delivered to your eye.
This is critical in low light hunting.
Additionally 30mm riflescopes are considered stronger and
more robust. The Diamond 30mm series offers all the features
of the 1 inch series. The 30mm series is offered in two
traditional sizes 1.5-6 x 44 and 4-12 x 56. Both are offered
with the German number four reticle.

Setting a new standard
Named the NIGHTEATER because it was developed for the
professional Kangaroo shooters in Australia who hunt
exclusively at night, head-shooting kangaroos at 200-300m to
harvest the meat and skins.
The NIGHTEATER Scopes are made in a new state-of-the-art
manufacturing facility. The lenses we use are Grade A which
are the best available. Other brands typically use Grades B, C
and D to save costs. The lens coatings used are also a key
factor in the clarity achieved by the NIGHTEATER range. We
offer the exclusive MICROLUX ETE coatings on all lenses, which
improves light transfer to the hunter's eyes. Most other
maker's only coat the external lens or worse, just use a
coloured tint for looks.

Air gunning is a popular pastime and a growing sport. Target ranges vary greatly
and parallax and focusing problems arise when using a riflescope. The AIRKING
series features adjustable focus and parallax required for the close range
shooting from 5 yards to infinity!
The recoil of the powerful spring air guns is a problem for many riflescopes. The
AIRKING range is designed to withstand the constant
recoil impacts of these air guns. Additionally each
AIRKING is supplied with a rigid one piece mount
suitable for 3/8 inch dovetails which removes
the risk of mount shift.

GOLD CROWN MOUNTS

Adjustable Air gun Mount
Air gunning is a demanding and growing sport. The arc
of the pellets trajectory is extreme when compared to
standard rifles, which will often travel beyond the
limits of most riflescopes adjustments. To solve this
problem we have developed a sturdy but adjustable
one-piece rail mount for air guns. The scopes elevation
can be precisely and quickly adjusted to compensate for the
extreme trajectory. The mount incorporates an adjustment
dial and a sturdy hinge mechanism allowing the mount to
tilt to the required angle. The one-piece design allows this
to be achieved without removing the mount from the rifle.
No twisting or distortion of the scope will occur.

PLATINUM MOUNTS
New for 2006, is a complete range of Platinum mounts suitable
for our entire range. The design is robust with solid construction
and 4 trox head screws allowing greater pressure over traditional
allen or slot head screws.
The range includes a 5/8 inch weaver style with a removable
recoil lug. And 3/8-inch dovetail for most air guns and .22 rifles.
Available for both 1 inch and 30mm body tube riflescopes in
Medium up to 40 mm and High for up to 56mm riflescopes.
However this may vary according to your scope design and
barrel profile.

DIAMOND SPEED SIGHTS

The Smallest Speed Sight yet!
Nikko Stirling has introduced two of this industry's smallest speed sights,
the XT and the SAS. Together they offer a range of shooting options for
hunters and target competitors.
All Diamond Speed Sights are “fully made in Japan” using renowned
Japanese optical technology and craftsmanship. They are made of metal
alloy providing superior strength and robustness.

Diamond
The XT is the smallest speed sight yet. Measuring only 39 mm (1 1/2 inches)
in length and 24 mm (1 inch) in height. The sight is made of metal alloys and
features optical glass lenses and coatings for target clarity. The red dot is fully
adjustable for windage and elevation when mounted on the rifle or handgun. The sight
is switched on by removing the cover and off again by replacing the cover on the sight.
The XT has an additional switch that allows the sight to be used in virtual darkness. It is
powered by a single battery that can be removed or changed easily whilst mounted on the
firearm. For storage the battery can be removed or replaced in seconds ensuring you are
ready for the next competition or hunt.

The XT sight is available with weaver style mountings or special mountings for use with
several popular handguns. These handgun mountings are able to be fitted without
specialist gunsmith tools. Ask your dealer about the available mounts as we will be
adding to the range over time. Adjustment for windage and elevation is easy and fast
with the supplied tools and calibration wheel.

Diamond
Functionally similar to the XT, the SAS design is also
waterproof. This allows for a more demanding use and
robustness. It is slightly larger measuring 48mm in
length, 25mm wide and 24mm high. The battery can
also be changed without removing the sight from the
firearm by removing two screws located in the top of
the sight. Again the sight is light sensitive and is
turned on and off by removing the cover.

The SAS is available with weaver style mounts.

Diamond PRO T • Handgun mounts available for XT
The Pro T was introduced by Nikko Stirling in 2004
and has proven reliable for hunters needing fast
reflex sights. Measuring 50mm in length, 28mm
width and 38mm in height the Pro T gives the
hunter a larger sight window. The Pro T is supplied
with integral weaver mounts. Functionally it is
similar to the XT described above.
