Dr. Gbenga Adetimehin and Dr. Dayo Osholowu. Our practice is drawn from our
background in Healthcare economics, Health systems planning, Health Policy, Health
management and Healthcare marketing communications.

Gbenga Adetimehin Dr., Partner:

Gbenga Adetimehin is a licensed physician with the Medical and Dental Council of
Nigeria. He chose Healthcare Industry Commerce and Economics as his professional
focus during his training in Health Management, Planning and Development at the
College of Medicine, University of Lagos in 2007. Following a brief stint working as a
physician and a shorter internship with Alder Consulting he joined Dayo Osholowu to
form Iheoo. During the time he was at Alder Consulting, their work on branding sparked
his interest in researching brands and marketing in the health Industry in Nigeria. He has
received Project Management Professional (PMP) training and has gained work
experience in project finance and optimizing business processes. He develops business
intelligence and analytics programs on Microsoft spreadsheet and database platforms.

Gbenga’s projects include development of brand and marketing concepts and design for
Emergency Services Provider licensed by the South African Resuscitation Council
planning an entry into the Nigerian Market (for Westland Rescue); development of
business model for faith based mobile health project in Lagos Nigeria; construction of a
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database for a Hedge fund. Gbenga is a
Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Dayo Osholowu Dr., Partner:

Dr Osholowu earned a Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery from the College of Medicine
Idi-Araba Lagos Nigeria and completed the Health Management and Planning Course at
the same institution in 2006. During this period he also received additional Clinical
training at the Columbia University New York School of Physicians and Surgeons New
York and in General Surgery at the St Georges Medical School University of London.

His consulting practice is focused on New Venture promotion and Venture Valuation for
Health Care businesses in Africa. In February 2010 a project he led; A pre-seed stage
tourism venture with a market valuation of $24 million which was recognized by Africa
Investor Magazine as one of the 10 most promising tourism ventures in Africa. For his work
on this project, Dayo earned the respect of the African investor community and was selected
as a panelist with other African Tourism industry experts at the 2010 Africa Investor (Ai)
Tourism Summit.In October 2010 he completed the World Intellectual Property
Organisation (WIPO) General Course in Intellectual Property and enrolled into the WIPO
South Africa Summer School (WSSS). He plans to complete the WSSS course next year
however he is currently developing his practice in the area of Intellectual Property Assets
Management in Healthcare Business and Intellectual Property in Public Health policy.

In April 2007 he joined Dr. Gbenga Adetimehin to form a partnership, Iheoo. Projects he
has completed with the practice include market research, business model design and
business valuation for primary health care provider in Victoria Island Lagos (for Wilmer
Clinics); proposals for health policy design for a donor funded agricultural project in
Benin Republic; research on Social Health Insurance in Accra Ghana, primary health
care business models, work site clinic business models, social health insurance
business models and occupational health schemes. In October 2010 he was one of the
40 Young Nigerian Leaders invited to attend the First Youth Forum of the Nigerian
Economic Summit Group (NESG) where he contributed to the Vision 2020 Presidential
Policy Change Dialogue. Dayo is a reviewer of the British Medical Journal with a focus
on Health Economics. He writes a weekly column for the BuisnessDay Nigeria Healthy
Business Edition. He has a full license to practice in The Federal Republic of Nigerian
and received a temporary licensure to practice in the Republic of South Africa in June
2010. He is a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Our Projects: Recently completed

Shongai: Port Novo, Benin Republic

An agricultural donor-funded health project had a history of employee health safety


problems. They required a solution to these issues by way of (1) measures aimed at
reducing health safety risk at their work sites and (2) cutting down on loss of man hours
as a result of these risks.Iheoo made a preliminary assessment following a tour of the
worksites and facilities. Key health indices were identified. A comprehensive health and
safety risk assessment was proposed as well as health and safety policy design and
strategy on implementation.

Wetland Rescue Consult: Lagos, Nigeria

A South Africa Resuscitation Council licensed emergency service provider penetrating


the Nigerian market elucidated on a brief which sought to articulate its vision, mission,
core values and objectives to its target market by way of the appropriate visual
representations and identity systems. They also wanted an assessment on their
seminars and workshops with recommendations on improvements. Iheoo issued
separate survey tools to both the founder and workers in the organizations as well as
workshop attendees. A competitive analysis of the top players in the industry in Nigeria
was made with the aim of identifying a gap which this young entrant could occupy.
A brand concept aimed at positioning the client as a thought leader in Emergency
service delivery was developed. Some key deliverables include: ethnographic report,
experience design, brand strategy document, design of new logo and identity systems.

Out box Consulting

This organization managed an investment scheme for healthcare professionals. Its


founders wanted it to make a steady transition to a mutual fund and attract the talent and
funding required for this goal. Iheoo developed survey tools to assess its current clients
in order to determine the positioning of the organization. A new brand architecture was
proposed in a bid to articulate these its objectives in the minds of its publics: Outbox
Capital (investment division), Outbox Research (corporate intelligence) and Outbox Pro
(professional development).

Wilmer Clinics

This Lagos-based health service provider wanted to explore ways of improving cash flow
to its centres and unpack its assets as a long time player in the healthcare industry with
strong business affiliations as capitalize on its location at the heart of Nigeria’s corporate
capital. Through process consulting, Iheoo made a business problem assessment
following which a new business model was designed. Also a brand strategy was
developed with a strong emphasis on heritage and response to change.
