Objectives
Participants will:
1. Learn about the pain experience from the patient point of view.
2. Learn about pain management issues for health professionals across a variety of patient groups.
3. Learn about an interdisciplinary pain management center.
4. Learn about the issues involved in achieving change in approaches to pain management so that best practices can be
implemented.
5. Have the opportunity to mobilize a province-wide network for improving pain management practices in both in-

Regular Attendees: $195.00+ $9.75 (5%)GST = $204.75 (includes meals, refreshments and syllabus)
ATTENTION STUDENTS:
Continuing Nursing Education recognizes the importance of mentoring students into the profession, and as such
when students provide proof of full time student status, CNE will refund 50% of the registration fee. The refund will
be processed within two (2) weeks of confirmed full time status. Students must register at the standard registration fee.

PAYMENT OF FEES:
The University of Saskatchewan accepts Visa and Mastercard only. Indicate registrant’s name, card type, account
number, expiry date and name on card. (We no longer accept Purchase Orders, and do not invoice employers or
government agencies.) All attendees must complete their registration online.
Confirmation of registration will be sent by e-mail upon receipt of payment.
