Pattison Elementary PTA is proud to announce the
start of our Spring "Green Fling" Fundraiser. This
year we are combining The Brookwood Community
plant sale & Mixed Bag Designs into one incredibly
"Green" Fundraiser. The Fundraiser dates are Tues-
day, February 15 - Tuesday, March 1. Please check
your child's backpack for your ticket to the "Green
Fling!" Parents, this is one fundraiser you can really
sink your "green thumbs" into!

5th Grade
Science Enrichment
Volunteers
To all those wonderful 5th grade parents that have
been coming to 5th grade science enrichment –
Thank you. Our January lab was on weather. Too
bad we did not get the snow to come but the lab was
still fun. We want to especially thank all the extra
parents that came in response to the last minute plea
of more volunteers needed. Several parents came to
multiple labs. We also need to thank our great 5th
grade science teachers Ms. Bauman and Ms. Engel-
mann for stepping in and taking a lab. We even had
a kindergarten grandparent come in to
help – Thank you, Ms. Leslye. If it was-
n’t for all our volunteers, our science
enrichment would not occur. See you
all for our last two labs!

Fun Run is being rescheduled to

weather earlier this month.
School Store News
The school store is still a popular
Thursday morning activity. Not
only do we have fun things like
the jelly heads but we have school
items as well. Does your child
need highlighters, erasers, pencils, rulers, glue
sticks, colored pencils, or red marking pens? The
store has many of these items in stock. The
prices for standard items are near the cost of
nearby stores and already include tax. The store
also has limited sizes of past years’ shirts and
sweatshirts for $2 and $4, Pattison Elementary car
stickers ($2), and Pattison Stadium cups with lids
($14). The store is open Thursday 7:45-8:15
a.m. Some quantities are limited. Should items
requested for your student by the teacher not be
available at the time of purchase, every attempt
will be made to take the student’s name, class and
items needed and the items
brought to the school by the
following Monday. Please do
not send bills $20 or higher
unless your child is to spend at
least half of the amount of the
bill denomination.
