As much as Texas Wing and its out-

New Region Chaplain for Southwest Region

By Chaplain Lt. Colonel Robert Whitley, SWR Chaplain

From Thanks To Giving

The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas is
an exciting time of the year. The aftermath of
giving thanks (Thanksgiving) leads us to a sea-
son of giving to others (Christmas). It is the time
when many who have give to those who have
not. Many who have little still give generously.
"Out of... extreme poverty welled up rich
generosity... They gave as much as they were
able, and even beyond their ability." 2 Corin-
thians 8:2-3. Civil Air Patrol members are givers
and servants. Each volunteer gives both time and
money to serving the public as well as other CAP
members.
Thank you for your generosity all year round. If
the CAP Chaplain Service can be of help please
let us know. My email is: ca-
pames@juno.com (capjames is in remembrance
of my dad, Lt Col Jim Whitley, who served in
