3. Apply protective masking tape to the factory grille
covering everything except the seven (7) factory
grille openings to protect the chrome or painted
finish.
4. Apply masking paper around the masking taped
area to eliminate paint overspray adhesion.

7. Once the paint has cured and the masking paper
removed, measure down from the inside top of
the factory grille opening 7-5/8” and mark the
masking tape.

11. Remove the protective masking tape and install
the frame using the supplied 1/2” no.6 counter-
sunk phillips screws and stainless steel finishing
washers. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS
OR YOU WILL STRIP OUT THE HOLES IN THE FAC-
TORY PLASTIC GRILLE!
12. Paint the front of the ABS block out panel with
semigloss black paint, as unpainted ABS will grad-
ually turn gray with UV exposure.
13. Peel off the backing on the double faced tape and
carefully align the painted ABS block out panel
over the factory grille, making sure it is perfectly
centered in the frame. Press the block out panel
firmly in place to set the tape.

14. Thoroughly clean the installed frame using a mild
solvent or adhesive remover, making sure to follow
with alcohol or glass cleaner to remove any residue
left by the solvent or adhesive remover.
15. Install the supplied .040” x .500” double faced
tape even with the inside edge of the frame.
16. Trim the double faced tape away from all screw
heads that protrude from the frame. This will
allow for proper tape adhesion and prevent the
screw heads from holding the polished frame
away from the frame.
17. Peel back a small section of tape (where shown).

20. Install the supplied .045” x .250” double faced
tape even with the inside edge of the frame.
21. Trim the double faced tape away from all screw
heads that protrude from the frame. This will
allow for proper tape adhesion and prevent the
screw heads from holding the polished frame
away from the frame.
22. Peel back a small section of double faced tape
backing from each section of tape.

Note: The polished mesh retainer will secure the
mesh over the ABS block out.
18. Carefully align the chrome mesh and polished
mesh retainer over the frame, making sure it is
perfectly centered over the frame. Carefully peel
off the double faced tape backing and press the
polished mesh retainer into place (make sure as
you work your way our the frame to remove any
masking tape retaining the mesh that will get
caught before you peel off the double faced tape
backing and press the mesh retainer into place.

23. Carefully align the chrome mesh into the frame
and polished surround over the frame and mesh,
making sure it is perfectly centered over the frame.

19. Align the lower frame onto the factory lower grille
section. Use a 3/32” drill bit to drill through the
holes in the frame and into the plastic. When
installing the upper no.6 x 3/4” screws, install the
supplied 5/16” plastic spacer to keep the top of
the frame at the correct height.
24. Remove the protective film from the polished sur-
round. Thoroughly clean the installed surround
using a soft cloth and a mild solvent or adhesive
remover, making sure to follow with alcohol or
glass cleaner to remove any residue left by the sol-
vent or adhesive remover.
25. Finished mesh grille installation. Be sure to reinstall
the factory brush guard if so equipped.
 WARRANTY INFORMATION:
E&G Classics, Inc. warrants its chrome parts and products to be free from defects in
material, workmanship or finish for Twenty-Four (24) months from the date of shipment
by E&G. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement, at E&G Classics option,
of the defective part or product.
To obtain performance under this warranty you must:
1.) Present your E&G unit to an authorized distributor in your area with proof of pur-
chase.
2.) If no distributor is available, contact E&G Classics (address below) for authorization
to return unit.
3. Returns - All unauthorized returns will be refused. Merchandise approved by E&G
for return must have been purchased within the Twenty-Four (24) months. All
returns require an authorization number obtained from E&G and the actual return
must be accompanied by the written authorization form filled out completely. All
merchandise must be inspected upon receipt and shortages reported within 48
hours. All merchandise must be in a resalable condition. Merchandise must be
packed carefully in the original packing. If original packing is no longer usable,
repack item(s) comparable to original manner. All returns are subject to a 25% han-
dling charge. Special order items are not returnable. Defective merchandise must
have an explanation of the problem. No credit will be issued unless invoice number
and date of purchase has been supplied. Manufacturer shall be sole judge of defects
in a product.
4.) UPS accounts - All returns must be prepaid. Do not send return shipments freight
collect. Once E&G has made its decision and it is a claim against our warranty pol-
icy, E&G will credit incoming freight on damaged parts.
5.) No discontinued part or parts changed due to body style are returnable.

You are responsible for inspecting all packages containing E&G Classics' parts and
product immediately upon their receipt and must file a claim with the carrier for any
damage disclosure by such inspection and notify E&G classics in writing at the above
address of any such damage. This warranty does not extend to any of our products
which have been subject to misuse, neglect, accident or have been altered or repaired
in any way. This warranty does not cover any accidental or consequential damages for
any breach of this warranty agreement. E&G Classics shall have no responsibility for
any loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss or consequential damage, nor shall
E&G be liable for any injury or damage to persons or property by reason of any defect
in material, workmanship or finish of its parts or products. This warranty gives you spe-
cific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to
state.
