Instructions for re-evaluation form

1. A candidate shall be entitled to have his / her answer-books re-evaluated on payment of a

fee of Rs. 550 /- (Rs.500+50= Rs.550) per answer book, subject to the following conditions :

(i) The student must have got at least 25% marks in concerned theory subject/s in which he
wants to apply for re-evaluation. The application of students who has got less then 25%
marks shall not be processed and fee shall not be refundable to him.

(ii) Application for re-evaluation must reach in the university within 21 days from the date of
notification of result is by the university.

(iii) For the purpose of computing the prescribed time limit of 21 days. The date of issue of
the university notification for the result declaration shall be taken as the date of its
commencement.

(iv) Each application must be accompanied by the prescribed fee which shall be remitted by
the bank drawn in favour of the Registrar, Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and
made payable at Jalandhar or in cash at the University counter.

(v) In case an application of a candidate for Re-evaluation of his/her answer-books. Is

received in the office after 21 days from the date of notification of his result, his / her fee,
if received, shall not be refunded to him.

(vi) The results of re-evaluation as per regulations of the University shall be final.

(vii) Any incorrect information, including a mismatch of the subject title, subject code, marks
obtained, %age marks obtained etc. shall invalidate this form.

(viii) The process of re-evaluation takes at least one month from the date of receipt of re-
evaluation form in the university. The students should not send any request related to the
re-evaluation result before one month.

(ix) The student who has got equal to or more than 25% marks in the concerned subject in
Regular / Re-appear examination he/she can also apply for challenge evaluation within
15 days from the date of declaration of his / her result of re-evaluation as per University
notification no. PTU/Reg/notification/22.
