CALGM reflects the Catholic Church's commitment to pastoral concern and support for
lesbian and gay Catholics, their parents, families and friends.  These ministries, under the
leadership of bishops, pastors and other pastoral leaders, seek to apply Church teachings
regarding the integration of sexuality and spirituality1 and the recognition of the dignity,

Setting the Table--Sharing Stories of Our Gay Catholic Experience

St. John's Abbey Guest House was the site of a Midwest Regional CALGM Gathering.
Those who wished a longer experience gathered on Friday evening and concluded
Sunday noon after liturgy and lunch.  But the schedule was such that participants could
choose to join us just for Saturday and still have an enriching experience.  For more

Board Meets Minneapolis Hospitality

The week end of May 14-15 the CALGM board met in Minneapolis Minnesota. The
local group put on a potluck supper. The quality of the meal was only surpassed by
the enthusiastic welcome given to the board by the local members who attended.
The board attended Mass at Saint Frances Cabrini Church which had generously
given a room in which the board could meet.

Heartfelt gratitude to Father Leo Tibesar, Pastor of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish and
all those in the Minneapolis local group who took such good care of the Board during
our May meeting! We were deeply touched by your hospitality, your generosity, and
by the vibrancy of your ministry! You are a great example of what it means to “set
the table.”
