INSTALLTION INSTRUCTIONS
--------------------------
- Install the module from Joomla backend.
- Publish to the desired module position.
- The module will be published on the position you have selected with
the default parameters.
UNDERSTANDING THE PARAMETERS :
-------------------------------
- LOAD jQuery: Default YES. If you template already loads the
- LOAD other scripts : Select Yes by default. No, if you are publishing more tha
n one module instances on the
same page.
- UNIQUE ID : Give any Id which will be quniue from other gallery module instanc
es on the page.
i.e. value : 1 will reflect the ID : photos-1.
- IMAGE PATH: Path of the images. to be taken from.
IMPORTANT : i.e if your main images are in images/stories/sample_f
older
Put your thumbnail folder (folder name : thumb) in fol
der : sample_folder
So, thumbnail path will be : images/stories/sample_fol
der/thumb
- HEIGHT : The height of the module. This height excludes the filmstrip. In PX.
- WIDTH : This width of the module. In PX.
- THEME : Dark/Light. You can change the color of the filmstip's active thumbnai
l's border.
Dark : Border will be black.
Light : Border will be white.
- FILMSTRIP : Chooese to show filmstrip or not. If "No" is selected it can be us
ed as simple image rotator. best for Homepage banners.
- THUMBNAIL GENERATE :
AUTO : The thumbnails will be generated autometically from the images
you have uploaded in "gallery"
directory.

Manual : In case of the auto the generated thumbnails are not appropri
ate and streatched. You can choose
this option.
The thumbnails will be taken from the thumb images folder.

IF YOU CHOOSE MANUAL THUMBNAILS

- You will have to upload to slide show images to this folder
:gallery
THUBNAILS SHOULD BE SQUARE. I.e 50px X 50px.

- FOR EXAMPLE :The images names are : 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg
- Upload the thumbnails to this folder : thumb
(www.YOURDOMAIN.com/modules/mod_galleryview/gallery/thumb )
**IMPORTANT - The thumbnail names will be:
1_thumb.jpg, 2_thumb.jpg, 3_thumb.jpg
Thumbnail images will be suffixed by "_thumb" & KEEP BOTH T
HE EXTENSIONS SAME, FOR MAIN IMAGE AND THUMBNAIL IMAGES.
- TRANSITION INTERVAL : The transition/slide change time. In MS. Put 0 if no aut
o sliding required.
- THUMB WIDTH (PX) : The width/height of thumbnail in PX.(THUBNAILS SHOULD BE SQ
UARE).
- TRANSITION SPEED (MS) : The speed of active thumnail frame, moving one to anot
her. Higher value will be slower.
- BACKGROUND COLOR (i.e. #000000) : Background of the module.
- BORDER COLOR (i.e. #000000) : The border of the module.
