PROPOSAL FOR A REFRESHER TRAINING ON SAGE LINE

50 ACCOUNTING
With reference to our discussion with the Head of Finance and
Administration in person of Mrs. Tabansi Augustina on the need to give
a comprehensive training to new staff who were not exposed to such
training on assumption of duty and also to give a refresher training to the
existing staff to keep them abreast of the new features of the new version
of the accounting software (Sage Line 50).

SCOPE OF THE TRAINING

The scope of the training will cover; Introduction to Sage Line 50,
Common element overview, Company/Nominal Ledger, Customers,
Suppliers, Bank, Fixed Assets, Invoicing/Sales Order Processing, Purchases
Order Processing etc.

TIMEFRAME OF TRAINING
The training is between two (2) or three (3) days. This is subject to your
ratification putting in mind the day-to-day transaction of the company.
The training shall be for a total period of ten (10) hours. The timing of the
training (i.e. the days of the training and the time) shall be fixed after
necessary consultations have been made.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be able to carry out the staff training effectively and efficiently,
the organisation’s responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the
following;
• Provide a conducive space for the training
• Provide a projector to project the training for the trainee to see
and a board or flip chart to write on.
• Provision of computer systems for the trainee to have an hands-
on practical training
• Provision of tea and lunch during training for both the trainer and
the trainees.

OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Please note that we, IDAT SERVICES LIMITED, will be responsible for the
following;
• A laptop to be used by the trainer
• Training manual for each participant (note that number of trainee
must be communicated two days before commencement of
training to enable preparation of training manual).
