A 10% expansion in consolidated revenue translated to a 39% growth in consolidated net income at
php8.4 billion for the full-year 2010. Net interest income reached php26.4 billion while non-
interest income increased 28% to php27.7 billion. Non-performing loans were reduced by 12% to
only php11.0 billion, pulling the NPL ratio even lower to 2.9% from 2009's 3.6%. Additional
provisions, on the other hand, pushed the coverage ratio to 92.3% from 75.5% the previous year.
Deposits increased by 6% year-on-year with total resources reaching php887.3 billion. Total CAR
improved to 16.4% from 14.3%, way above the required 10%. Average ROA rose to 10.3% from only
8.6% in 2009.

and Exchange Corporation (PDEX) tomorrow, March 11, 2011, Friday. The issue carries an 8.7% and
8.0% per annum fixed interest rate, respectively. The 3-yr tenor will mature in April 30, 2012
while the 5-yr security will fall due on May 1, 2014.

FIRST GEN CORPORATION [pse: FGEN]

The Company wholly-owned subsidiary, First Gen Luzon Power Corporation, signed and executed with
the Province of Nueva Ecija and the Municipality of General Tinio (also in Nueva Ecija) for the
development of the Balingtingon Reservoir Multi-Purpose Project (BRMPP.) The project involves
the development, construction and operation of a new hydro reservoir and a new hydroelectric
plant for power generation, irrigation and domestic water supply. Earlier, First Gen Luzon's
Hydropower Service Contract application for the Balingtingon project was given due course by the
Department of Energy.
