Guidelines for Summer Training/ Project Report BBA-III

1. Each student will make atleast one copy of project report in the recommended
format which has to be submitted to the Department of Commerce & Management
individually on or before ___.
2. Each student is required to make a copy of project in CD and submit along with
your project report
3. The students will keep one copy of the project with themselves for their further
reference in future and one copy to the organization where they have done their
summer training (if required).
4. The report should hardbound with the title page embossed on the cover.
The cover of the hardbound report should be blue for Finance project, maroon for
Human Resource projects and green for Marketing projects.
5. All the students are required to follow the following instruction.
a. There should not be any deviation from requirement of reproducing the cover
page of the report from the format prescribed below.

b. The size of the report would depend on the project undertaken. However it
must be 70(approx) typed pages(Single space) on A4 size paper. All the
students are required to use the uniform font and format (except in heading
and subheadings) through out the text of the report. For example, if anybody
uses “ times new roman” of font size 12 in the text, then he/she will be using
the same through out the report. The fonts allowed are Times New Roman,
Arial, Bookman Old Style, Garamond.
c. The project report must accompany a certificate authenticating the
originality of the work done in the prescribed format, as indicated below.

c. If any material in the report is picked up from any source and the source
name is not referred in the bibliography section then it will be treated as a case
of plagiarism. /cheating.

1.9 Appendix/ Annexure

If the student uses any table/graph/ Figure, then it is to be numbered and source
of information from which it is collected, is to be mentioned under each.

HOW TO WRITE BIBLIOGRAPHY


Journal :
i. Author (S) eg. If Author name is Stephen Robbins, then it will be
written as Robbins Stephen.
ii. Year, Title, Journal name, Volume, Number, Page No.

Books:
iii. Author (S) eg. If Author name is Stephen Robbins, then it will be
written as Robbins Stephen.
iv. Title, Place of Publication, Publisher, Date (year) of publication,
Number of pages referred from “-------to-----“
Magazine & Newspaper
i. Author(S), Title of-----------, Volume Number, Serial Number,

 Margins Left = 1 inch, Right = 1 inch, Top= I inch, Bottom= 1

 Spacing within a sentence
 Between words: 1 space
 After a colon: 2 spaces
 After a semi colon: 2 spaces
 After a comma: 1 space
 After a full stop: 2 spaces

Headings
Types:
a. Centre Head ( All Caps, without underlining)
b. Centre subhead ( Caps and lower case underlined)
c. Side Head ( All Caps, without underlining)
d. Paragraph head followed by a colon ( Caps & Lower case underlined)

ALL THE STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE ABOVE


STATED GUIDELINES AND ARE REQUIRED TO WRITE THE
PROJECT REPORT IN THEIR OWN LANGUAGE. ATTACHING
DOWNLOAD INFORMATION/MATERIALS IN THE CONTENT &
ANNEXURE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
