Declaration for the Call for Action

I, James Eugene Luke Anderson, as a citizen of the United States of America, do hereby declare the
government Corrupt, and call upon a political revolution, as set forth in the provisions that our
founding fathers set down in law and themselves signed. It is only after taking into heavy consideration
our current state of affairs that I do hereby take this step and request your aid in changing this country
for the better. There are many reasons for doing this, but first and foremost is the fact that the
government has been bought by many people and companies, and they have not taken into
consideration the peoples wishes for far to long. They put their own needs and those of the large
corporations that sponsor them above their constituencies. Many times in the past it has been talked
about in a loud, public outcry for the united states to change and eliminate the corruption. This has not
occurred because the government tells the people to vote to change, but we cannot vote for change. The
congressional and political districts of the united states have been so gerrymandered that it is
impossible to even consider a fair and aboveboard election to be possible.
That is why I ask you to say with your voice that you wish for change to occur. I will endeavor
to work towards progress that will work with the people, not against them. If it is not the will of the
people that change should occur., then I shall cease my endeavors, and cease my call for change. I will
not, however, cease if the government tells me to, for it is the government that I am fighting against. It
is our government, that was once of, for, and by the people that has changed to the point of being not
for the people, but for the companies and for personal gain.
My grievances are listed here for all to see and to read, and I feel justified in listing them:
1. The Government has declined it's duties to it's constituencies in favor of their own gain.
2. The Government has increased taxes to a level that most people find excessive in the midst of a
depression and refuses to cease spending.
3. The national debt has increased to a level under our government that is completely unheard of.
4. The government has done it's best to disarm the public, though it has been stated in our
constitution and our Bill of Rights that the ownership and use of arms is necessary for the
populous as a whole.
5. The vast majority of people are uninformed by force as our government hides what it is doing
from us in an unconstitutional manner and by amending laws to their purpose.
6. Many of the bills that are passed by congress and the rest of our government are fluff that is all
political language and dealings that seem to be there to help but only put more money in the
hands of those who do not need it.
7. The teaching system, which has struggled to adapt to the times, has become obsolete due to the
lack of funding from our own government, which has failed to provide funding for core
programs though we ask for other areas to be cut.
8. The political districts have been gerrymandered to the point at which there ceases to be free and
aboveboard elections and does not reflect the populous.
9. Our government has kept from it's people major political and military information that should
be shown in a clear and consice manner for all to see.
10. The Oil companies are in control of major portions of our government and use their force to put
out of business any competition and force an oil monopoly.
11. Our military has been sent out abroad with a very small support base, even though it has been
called for time and time again for us to withdraw.
12. Despite a call for change and a promise of change by our leadership, the government has not
changed and has not altered it's goals to reflect those of the people.
13. Our borders, while at one time secure, have become so insecure as to be impossible to walk
along without fear for one's life due to gang and criminal activities.
14. Our neighbor to the south, Mexico, is a bigger threat to our safety than many abroad, and yet
the government will do nothing to secure our borders against the threat.
15. While at home our police force does the best it can to keeep the public safety, there are far too
many variables that have come up for an under-equipped force to deal with, namely the gangs
and organized crime that have become all too prevalent amongst the cities and suburbs of this
country.
And though there are many more grievances that I could list, these are amongst the most
common and the most serious that I have to wage.
Our country was founded on principles that ring true and Ideal, even in today's world. The basic
documents that are the basis for our country are so inherently accurate that their principle should be
kept for all time within the government that adopts it. Therefor, I do not call for an alteration of the
Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or the Amendments that were made to the aforesaid, for they address
key issues that must be kept in mind. I call for an alteration, an abolition, and a revolution in the laws
that were based thereof and of how this government runs. We should never be forced into laws that our
government makes without the consent and consultation of the people. In this day and age, we should
not be limited to a Representative Democracy, but return to a Direct Democracy. We have the
technology and the resources to make it possible for eac persons vote truly count, and for the votes to
be heard with many others.
Politics today involve not what is obvious, but what is not said, what is implied, and what is
hidden. It does not involve what is aboveboard and in the clear, but what is hidden from public view.
We cannot have progress with the laws and mindset that has been adopted by our government. I mean
to address that by going to the people and with the people to make it happen.
It is with this in mind that I call for a reform on the scale of revolution to occur within our
country, that we might take back our government and our lives, that we may be able to work with the
people, rather than against. For this, I have no final answer, but I know that if we work together to
make our government work, we'll be able to fix it and make our country a grand place once more.
Please, join me in this endeavor to make things work the right way once more.
If this writing is quelled, then I shall take it as proof that we are within a corrupt government. If
it is taken to heart, then I freely acknowledge those who acknowledge me and value their ideas and
input.
In accordance with what is written above, I suggest that the way that those in government
employment be paid and how all the people should be aided by the government be changed. I propose a
re-organization of the political system and how we are repaid for being of this nation. To show these
points, I have created an outline as to what should be done, changed, or made to suit the government
that we will make.
1. Government Housing: Any government employee may live in an apartment furnished and
maintained by the government. This shall not be a lavishly appointed nor opulent domicile, and
they will have at their disposal a monthly stipend not to exceed double minimum wage for their
area.
2. Education: Teachers will have access to any additional schooling or materials that are deemed
necessary to maintain a classroom. When students reach the age of 16 or reach their second year
of High School will be assessed by their abilities and given the choice to attend a vocational
school to train. At any time in the future they may return to school to attain another form of
education.
3. Politicians. Any who continue their education that wish to enter the field of Politics shall be
required to do any of the following: attend an additional 4 years of Law School, be apprenticed
to a politician for a term not exceeding that of the politician's office, or do political research and
submit three or more bills that pass government approval and are put into effect.
4. Term and Pay Limits: Government Officials cannot run for the same office more than twice
within a fifteen year period, and may hold no more than different offices within a twenty year
period. Pay for the positions shall be determined by vote, but will be at least double minimum
wage for their constituency. A Government official cannot raise minimum wage without the
consent of the people, and the raise in minimum wage cannot exceed the rate of inflation.
5. Politicians while out of term: Any politician may pursue a career outside of politics, so long as
that career does not have conflicting interest with the office which he or she holds. Politicians
without an additional career outside of politics will be given a stipend equal to minimum wage,
unless they serve an additional post that is not within an office.
6. Housing and minimum wage: Any person may apply for government housing, so long as they
hold a job. Minimum wage shall be paid on a monthly salary basis, and shall not be less than
double that needed to pay for the rent of government apartments.
7. Agriculture: Any person may apply for a job within the agricultural sector as long as they agree
to take training based on what the job's needs and requirements are. The government shall
purchase no more than 10% and no less than 8% of the product that is not purchased by the
general public, for safekeeping against such a time that a famine occurs and to feed those in
government employ.
8. Police: A police officer will enter vocational school to teach them the basics that are needed for
their jobs, with the exception of Forensic Scientists, Investigators, or Morticians. Police officers
shall be equipped with similar equipment to the main force of the Army, and will be trained to
combat gang violence. Any citizen may become a Private Investigator if they pass a basic test in
the use of firearms and accompany an investigator for 4 months of active duty.
