1) Land Bank Assessment
Land selection for solar PV & CSP is a technical and experience intensive activity. Selection
of favorable site and its acquisition are the foremost activities before conceptualization of
any solar farm. Exergy has access to vast patches of lands across India and has a
comprehensive mathematical model to compare and rank them. Exergy has developed a 25
point land selection criterion. Each point has been given a weight-age based on in-house
research done by Exergy in collaboration with IIT Delhi & IIT Kharagpur. Exergy also has
access to vast land banks (5000 Acre) across different states of India favorable for Solar
Farms which can be provided to the clients on request.

Whole procedure of site selection involves following two set of activities –

NVVN & state policies are not clear in several aspects about solar power quota allotment.
Policy friendliness is a complex issue that will be addressed separately with technical
feasibility of land. Our Experienced consultants will evaluate the site on the NVVN and
state policies.

2) Preparation of Detailed Project Report

Exergy prepare Bankable DPRs (for PV and CSP), duly vetted by Engineers India Limited
(A public sector undertaking) based on the guidelines of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar
Mission Plan and in accordance with the state statutory authorities. We use solar insolation
& DNI data of NASA, and METEONORM in DPR. The DPR include following minimum

3) Advisory Services
