March 28-31, 2011

Dear Families,
We hope everyone had a good weekend. Picture day is Thursday. If you want a class
picture, order forms have to be turned in by Thursday. Also, please pick your child’s pose for
the picture and return that form, as well. Morning pictures are at 8:30 and afternoon pictures are
at noon.

ASSESSMENT:
We sent home a sheet from your child’s assessment last week. Please return by the end of
the week. When we did the first home visit, you may recall us asking questions about dressing,
taking a bath, following rules, etc. This form is coming home this week for you to fill out. Beside
each statement write a 2, 1, or 0 (2= does independently, 1= does sometimes or with help, 0=
does not do at all). Please disregard all other numbers and letters typed on the form. This is
what it looks like on the screen when I enter their scores.

Kindergarten Parent Training:

We will be having a parent training on preparing your child for kindergarten in April here
at Bridgeport. Information will be coming home this week about it. Also, registration packets
came home last week. Please fill out all papers and return to school. Your child’s records will
be sent to the office at the end of the year. Other than a dental exam you shouldn’t need
anything else as long as everything is current.

Egg Hunt:
Just to give you a heads up, we will be having an egg hunt April 21st. We’ll be asking
everyone to send 8 filled eggs (i.e. candy, small toy, fake tattoo, stickers, etc.). We’ll give you
more information closer to time.
