‘I AM THAT’

I have no scruple of change, nor fear of death,

Nor was I ever born,
Nor had I parents.
I am Existence Absolute, Knowledge Absolute, Bliss Absolute,
I am That, I am That,

I cause no misery, nor am I miserable;

I have no enemy, nor am I enemy.
I am Existence Absolute, Knowledge Absolute, Bliss Absolute,
I am That, I am That,

I am without form, without limit,

Beyond space, beyond time,
I am in everything, everything is in me.
I am the bliss of the universe,
Everywhere am I.
I am Existence Absolute, Knowledge Absolute, Bliss Absolute,
I am That, I am That,

I am without body or change of the body,

I am neither senses, nor object of the senses,
I am Existence Absolute, Knowledge Absolute, Bliss Absolute,
I am That, I am That,

I am neither sin, nor virtue,

Nor temple, nor worship
Nor pilgrimage, nor books.
I am Existence Absolute, Knowledge Absolute, Bliss Absolute,
I am That, I am That,

Realize the Heaven within you, and all at once all the desires are fulfilled, all the misery and suffering is
put an end to.

Lo! the trees of the wood are my next of kin.

And the rocks alive with what beats in me.
The clay is my flesh, and the fox my skin.
I am fierce with the gadfly and sweet with the bee.
The flower is naught but the bloom of my love.
And the waters run down in the tune I dream.
The Sun is my flower, up hung above.
I cannot die, though forever death
Weave back and fro in the warp of me.
I was never born, yet my births of breath
Are as many as waves on the sleepless sea.

Oh, Heaven is within you, seek Happiness not in the objects of sense; realize that Happiness is within
yourself.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Truth is Your Birth Right. Assert

it and Be Master of Universe. Truth
is “Tattva-Masi” - “That Thou Art” — Rama

Swami Rama Tirtha was a Vedantin of the highest realization. Vedanta according to him is no dogma or
blind faith, but the Reality of realities. It is the realization of our true Self, Sat-Chid-Anand, the state of
All-Being, All Knowledge, All Bliss. Swami Rama was not only a religious teacher, but was also a
fearless social reformer, and an undaunted patriot.

This website is dedicated to disseminate the teachings of Swami Tirtha. To this end we will be making
available Swami Rama's “In Woods of God-Realization” online. In Woods of God-Realization is a
seven volume compilation of the complete works of Swami Rama.

Rama guarantees that anybody in this world who reads

or hears all of Rama's speeches, would get his
doubts removed and is sure to come
to the conviction of his own Divinity

If you live in unison with your true Atman or Spirit, if you always keep yourself in touch with God in
you, with your own Self or Atman, you are inspired all the time. What is wrong with you is that your
mind comes in contact with earthly magnets on all sides, worldly attachments which magnetize you and
put you out of order, you are no longer in running order, deranged.

If you are not inspired today, the sole reason is that you do not keep yourself isolated, or insulated
enough. You allow worldly objects to magnetize, to hypnotize you, you allow them to play foul and fast
with you. If you want to regain your original powers and inspiration, keep yourself insulated, isolated
for a while.

Bury yourself in the Reality, in Divinity, in God, in the true Atman. Keep yourself buried in the Spirit, in
the Truth. Live alone for a time, set apart sometime of your day for keeping in touch with the Reality;
merge yourself, bury yourself in God. Do that and the spoiling magnetism and wrong hypnotism that
you have got from these worldly objects will leave you, your mind will be running in order again. You
will be again inspired.

Wisdom has been defined as knowing what one ought to do next. Virtue is doing it.

Everything in this world moves rhythmically, and the Law of periodicity governs all phenomena.

Men are not influenced by things, but by their thoughts about things.
The religion, which is not tolerant or liberal enough to preach love, and live in peace with others, is no
religion. It is simple immorality, narrow-mindedness, orthodoxy, and bigotry.
